ORTONYX3.5" Ergonomic Cervical Collar/Neck Support Brace / ACNS03 Light Beige Medium

This cervical collar was firmer but not rock hard in supporting my neck. The color is perfect because the white collars I have had in the past seemed to look dingy after you wore it a few times. The doctor wanted a collar that would support my neck while I sleep, in my recliner at times, when in vehicles including a recent trip involving an aircraft, and whenever I felt the need to wear it. The collar did all of the above for me including reducing neck pain.

At 3.5 inches this is higher than some of the other on-line 3 inch collars and also sturdier than the one from the hospital. I was looking for a bit more support so am pleased with it. As others have stated, it runs slightly smaller in circumference than shown in the sizing chart. A medium just barely fits. If you are looking for something kind of soft and plush, this isn't for you. But it has the sturdiness and height I was looking for. Very pleased.

Provides comfort needed from pain

I measured my neck and bought what I thought was the appropriate size. The collar is far too high- it’s a struggle to get it on and incredibly uncomfortable. I’ve had foot and back issues most of my life and have worn many types of braces but I cannot wear this one!

This collar is perfect density and thickness for my neck. It has improved my sleep by preventing my injured neck from moving excessively. It is easy to attach by yourself. I will buy more.

It works. It's big enough for my fat neck and holds up my fat head pretty well. I even used it on an airplane and fell asleep. I got it for spine problems, but I got a travel pillow as an added bonus. I have a memory foam travel pillow that was expensive, and it sucks. This is way more comfortable for that purpose. The only thing I wish it did was breathe better. Also, I wish it was machine washable. It was cheap, though; they aren't intended to last forever, anyway. I'll just throw it away when it smells bad.

Went by chart got medium. Can barely get the Velcro attached. TIGHT. Its also 3 3/4 inches not 3.50. Retuned it and got a LARGE still too small for a 17 inch neck. Can only get the Velcro strap on an inch or it chokes me. NO WAY this would fit a 23 inch neck like it says. Also the lumps on the corners above the Velcro part sticks in my head and irritates it.

Sizing recommendation is way off. I wear a 16 1/2 neck shirt. I ordered a medium and it was too tight. Returning and will try a large. Otherwise product appears well made.
