These have been used in dimmable touch lamps, and they are coping extremely well with the circuitry contained in the dimmer unit. The levels of dimming, although not as differentiated as with an incandescent bulb, are still very good, and actually better than the dimmable LED bulb I pinched out to try from the dining room dimmable led installation. That is not to say that these bulbs would work well in any old dimmable touch lamps, as this is highly dependable on the intended load of the dimmer circuit within the lamp. Many touch lamps are generally designed for incandescent bulbs and as such, the dimmer circuits operate at a much greater current than an led bulb demands. If you are considering using these for a dimmable touch lamp, you might find that the led bulb brightness varies very little between settings, or gives very little light at all. It's a gamble unless you can test it first as I did.I wanted to change out the incandescent bulbs because they get hot, so it was worth trying these out (although I can use these bulbs elsewhere, so the question when buying was more on the quality of these bulbs than whether they'd work where I actually wanted them).In a normal non dimmable lamp, these dimmable led lamps should work just fine.They come into their own used in the correct manner on a trailing edge led dimmer switch, or if you are lucky enough to have a leading edge dimmable set up which is able to cope with the lower current demands of these led bulbs.I also tested one of these bulbs out in our trailing edge dining room light and it performs extremely well. No flickering, good range of brightness that didnt visibly differ greatly from whatever brand I have in the light fitting at the moment (always a good idea to use all one brand in any light fitting requiring multiple bulbs).I think these are good quality; they also arrived professionally packaged and looking like they deserved some confidence before I even tried them.

These bulbs are really good, finally I can use all 3 in the light cluster (before I just put 1 bulb in as it was always too bright). I bought a dimmer switch especially designed for LED bulbs and these bulbs have been working for months now and none have blown, don't flicker or buzz, and give out a nice yellow glow. The only slight downside is they take a couple of seconds to ramp up to full brightness if you suddenly switch them on at full power. Maybe that's the dimmer switch rather than the bulbs though.

Ordered 8 bulbs in total. Good brightness, worked well with LED dimmer, and looked good in chandelier fittings. However one bulb didn't work as well as the others in terms of brightness, and will need to replace.

Well made, stylish bulbs giving a bright even light. LED based they offer a long life and great energy efficiency compared with ordinary bulbs. Available as four pack these bulbs offer a cost effective solution compared with alternatives.

We bought these filament LED bulbs to replace older style led bulbs (rated for less lumens of brightness) which had the heatsink at the bottom so the beam angle wasn't very wide - we thought a filament LED bulb type would remedy this.straight away I found these to be less bright than the old bulbs and within a week one of the four bulbs began to flicker and cut out. Luckily my fixing only requires 3 bulbs so I had another to spare but wasn't a good start. Now around a year later a second bulb is doing the same.I've used other brand LED bulbs for years and only ever had one fail, understandably, after my wife accidentally left it on for nearly 24 hours (was still working when I went downstairs the next morning but once switched off it wouldn't switch on again). I've even got several bulbs upstairs which have been working perfect for almost 9 years now so having two out of four of these bulbs fail in around a year is not a good reflection on their reliability.Dimming performance was excellent but that is probably the only positive.Overall, less bright than expected and not that reliable. Would not recommend on this basis.

These bulbs are bright but aren't overly bright, which when used on the dimmest setting my bedside light allows, is perfect, as I use my lamp before going to bed (only one light bulb used for this). There were 4 in the box for £12 I think it was, which is good value. They are dimmable bulbs as stated. Work as expected. Thank you.

They are working perfectly as a group of 8 in a Chandelier with existing dimmer switch.These 4w bulbs have replaced old style 40w incandescent candle bulbs, using a tenth of the money,, they have a warm glow and *should* last much much longer than the old onesWell packed too, no duds.Can I have some commission please - I don't normally write these - but they really are that good!!
