I purchased this book so that we had some extra good old fashioned stories to read to my little boy as part of his bedtime routine. He is only 1 but at the moment loves looking at the different pictures and helping me turn the pages. It’s lovely to be able to read stories from my childhood and now begin to introduce them to him. The quality of the book is great and allows it to stay sturdy even when my little boy gets his hands on it. The length of the stories is perfect to keep his attention and slot easily into our routine. Lots to choose from and by the time you’ve finished you’ll be able to go back to the start and feel like the first stories are fresh again. A great book that can be used time and time again and last a good while. Highly recommend to any parent or even for a child who is a keen reader. Nicely illustrated and fun to read!

Lots of stories you might know, and lots you might not, but all shaved down to fit into a quick bedtime story routine. Really good if you’re reading for comfort rather than to have the little one gripped by the storyline, we have been through the book several times now and don’t plan to stop yet!

Bought this as my daughter had a term on traditional stories at nursery. This was perfect in that the stories were short to keep her interested and the illustrations beautiful. All the traditional stories are in there and summed up really well without taking too long to get through. Perfect for a quite read before bed!

My daughter loves choosing a couple of stories each night as they all take 5 minutes. The pictures are lovely, it's traditionally written, sturdy and such a lovely way to end the day together

Glad I bought this book. It has many stories and the illustrations are bright and colourful, currently read this to my newborn.

Has lots of great little stories. It's a beautifully made and with good illustrations. 4 year old loves it.
