The Lucky Baseball Bat

My oldest great-grandson is reading this by himself and said it's really good.

I ordered this for my grandson, and he said he enjoyed it. Will probably order another book from the series.

I have a reluctant reader in a nine year old grandson, but he is loving this book. As an English teacher, this makes me very happy. I’ll be looking for more by this author.

Easy read for my 8 year old grandson who is baseball

Good book, but you can definitely tell it was written in the 50’s because of the language used. Words kids don’t really hear today, like “swell” and things like that. It’s a good book though and I’m glad I got it for my 8 year old grandson.

My grandson had preferred graphic novels, such as Dog Man and Captain Underpants. But, when I read the first few chapters of The Lucky Baseball Bat to him, he wanted to take it home to finish it. And he did, on his own. And he was able to tell me everything that happened in those chapters. He now wants more Matt Christopher books to read. That’s a win.

Book was fine grandson enjoyed it
