A quality battery
These batteries are just as described, powerful, nicely packaged, individually boxed and protected. Each battery has soldered tabs that are color coded. Nice product, you can tell the manufacturer cares about their products. I would highly recommend these products. A quality battery

2/3 C cells pack a nice charge.
I use all 12 cells connected to produce 5 volts, a solar panel that produces 15 watts of power at 12 vdc, and an inexpensive charge controller to produce all the light needed to light-up my yard at night, and last all night, no problem. Better yet, it is a closed system. Solar powered and Zero maintenance.

New Life For An Old Drill
I purchased this set of sub-c batteries to rebuild a battery pack for a Skil 14.4 volt cordless drill. It took nearly an hour to solder all of the connections, but the effort saved over 50% of the cost of a new 14.4 volt battery pack. The old drill is up and running with plenty of power for small to medium jobs.
