I couldn't get a singe seed to actually sprout. I contacted the seller who sent me additional seeds but they too would not sprout. I followed the instructions provided but to no avail. I even gave several seeds to a good friend of mine that can grow just about anything and she too said none of them sprouted after following the directions. I was super disappointed because I was really looking forward to having this plant as I saw one on a recent trip to Costa Rica and loved them. The two stars were primarily for the fact that the seller actually attempted to make it right the 1st time I contacted him by sending me additional seeds.***Update***I am revising my review because after my previous review the seller reached out to me, again, trying to make the situation right as I believe he genuinely wants customer satisfaction. After discussing possibilities as to why my seeds never sprouted, Mark made additional suggestions and recommendations for me to be successful. He then sent me more seeds and tada! I have some tickle me plants growing!! Thanks Mark!!!

I am not a green thumb but thought these plants would be a fun and good substitute in place of candy for my kids on Valentine's Day. We followed the instructions but then read that they need to be away from sunlight, so we put them in a spot where the kids can watch them grow, away from windows, and they started to bud in a few days, but after a week they stopped and they looked like they were wilting, so we moved them closer to the window to see if sunlight would help...needless to say they stopped growing :(. We watered them and moved them again and nothing. Luckily my kids forgot about them, so they aren't upset, but we really hoped that these would have worked out! Maybe we did something wrong...anyway - cute idea but didn't work for us.

I bought this for my 4 year old granddaughter for Valentines Day. We love growing things. Mine are not growing. They sprouted a tiny white thing then shrivels you. Both pots. Terribly hard to explain to a four year old. Not only that, seller NEVER responded to me. Stay away! I waited until the 15th and he NEVER told me what to return.

Follow the instructions and they grow fast!!! I planted mine in Feb and it's about 2 feet tall now ( July). Only thing is the first they send doesn't expand as much as you will need to fill the pots so you will need some extra dirt. But I LOVE mine!

I bought this for my 9 and 7 year old children, and also sent it to my niece and nephew who are about the same age. All of the kids LOVED this unique gift. It was packaged so nicely and came just as described. I was thrilled to be able to send a gift that I knew was very different but fun and exciting for the kids. They can't wait for their plants to grow!

My husband bought this for me as a gift and tried 3 times growing it by following exact instructions and it grows only up till small leaves stage and then it shrivels and dies! My 3 year old was so excited to see it grow but oh well...very disappointed! Will not be buying this again...
