Should have bought this sooner.
This thing works great, even for the price. Bought the C variant for my Makita RT0701C. It fits the router perfectly. After my first test cut I noticed measuring the radius from the inside of the pin to the inside of the bit gives it about a quarter inch extra diameter. So I just measured to the back side of the bit. I imagine center of the pin to center of the bit would make a perfect measurement.thats user error though. Either way, great quality for the price, and comes with everything you need for circles, and for routed mortises.

Works very well.
I have already used it to cut a few large circles out of 3/4" material, and it works very well. Very stable.I removed the existing base from my Makita router, and replaced with this one (I purchased the "C" model). It fits perfectly, and (with YouTube) is easy to figure out.I think they should add at least a single piece of paper with basic instructions, but there are so many videos on YouTube describing similar products, that the lack of documentation is actually not a real problem.I would add, from my recent experiences, something that is not mentioned in any of the videos on YouTube. When you are using this jig to cut out the circular hole, route the material on alternating sides, rather than performing the entire routing operation on a single side. First of all, you will need to adjust the cutting depth half as many times (I route about 1/8" each pass). Secondly, it will completely prevent any tear-out from the "back" face (as there is no back face when alternating sides). Finally, it will not ever damage the bench or other material below the workpiece (as the router bit will never be more than half as deep as the workpiece!!Just my two cents worth of advice. I've found a "spiral up" cutting bit to be the best. A "spiral down" bit will constantly clog the cut groove with material, and need to be vacuumed out. If you have the choice, I have found Whiteside to be the best bits, with Freud as a good second place.

Circle cutter
Works perfectly with a little configuring. Fits most routers but not all. Be sure to tighten all adjustments as much as possible. Before beginning to cut your circle to keep the circle true.

Nearly perfect circle jig !
I was going to make one off of plexiglass, but after calculating costs, I decided to get this jig. I tried it minutes after package was delivered! Works great with Makita cordless router (I purchased C ver). The fact that you can make mortises by using the supplied pins - a BIG plus! (although I need to see it in action to believe it :)So why is it nearly perfect? well you cannot mount a plunge base to it, without drilling . You could probably get the ver A and do it then...Anyway, it will definitely stays with my jigs collection !BTW, instructions are included !

Works well and affordable
No instructions but there is a good youtube video that walks you though how to use it, search for:Router Circle Cutting Jig Easy cheap Manor WoodI got the version 'C' and it was very easy to mount my Bosch PR20EVS. After cutting a few 7 inch circles I was glad I purchased this, super easy to use and adjust. I cut the circles rotating clockwise so that the rotation was tightening the guide pin. The plastic is pretty thick, about 3/8" or 9.5mm. Also note that the bit that comes with it is a drill bit for the guide pin hole, not a router bit.
