Great trainers, but they've made changes
I have worn nothimg but Skechers for years - they're simply the best! I had a pair of these which I wore nearly every day for 4 years including 8 hours a day at work, walking, driving, shopping. Eventually the soles wore down and got polished and became too slippery and dangerous so it was time to replace them. I did not hesitate to buy another pair the same - despite the high price they were excellent value.Just like the original pair and all other Skechers I've had, these were a perfect fit, required no breaking on and were instantly comfortable. I love these trainers, but I have to agree with some of the other reviews in that I believe Skechers have cut the quality of the soles since my last pair. I have been wearing these just 5 months and already there are signs of the first (black) layer of the sole wearing through to the white layer, so I don't think these will ever last 4 years like before. If this is the case, the value may come into question and I would not expect this from Skechers. Only time will tell!

Wide Fit
I have wide feet and deep instep. these trainers are extremely comfortable for me, probably the best fit I’ve had. Only downside is the tread on the sole seems to be wearing down fairly quickly but with comfort like this I don’t mind having to buy a new pair a bit more often

Light and really comfortable - Not that durable
I'm a postman and fancied buying something nice to use while at work. Footwear is obviously the most important part of my gear, walking about ten miles a day over varying terrains. We have options supplied from the company, and they're great - I happily use them - but they're generally more heavy duty and don't look as nice. I grabbed a pair of these as they look alright, had decent reviews and Skechers are considered good amongst posties. I've had these about a year and as a professional walker my opinion is that:They're really comfortable and really light. I switched back to my standard work shoes for a while and just put these back on for the summer - it's like wearing slippers by comparison. Lots of spring in the soles. So yeah - really soft inner, really light, really comfy more or less out of the box. They look nice but are maybe a bit wider than you'd expect. A touch wide in the shoe, but the width comes from the sole. Although that helps with stability. Quite a high heel too, but you need the depth when you're walking and it's all quite soft and springy.I bought them last winter and if I remember they held up alright in the rain but don't expect much on icy pavements. I switched them out for something with more grip, which brings me to my only real fault with them, which is...The soles just aren't durable. I burnt through the bulk of the tread really quickly as they're so soft. Something like within a couple of months I switched back to more hard wearing shoes from work just to preserve some life in them. That being said it's now summer, my current round is all pavement and I've put them back on and they're lovely. Bear in mind I'm using these every day for hours, walking at pace, non-stop with extra weight on my back so it's a bit of an extreme test I suppose. If you're gonna go for a walk here and there they'd be a bit more durable, no doubt. So yeah, like I say - really comfortable, really light, barely notice you're wearing them, don't think they took much breaking in, material has held up and I've had no issues in rain. Laces are still good, inner sole is still soft (although the memory foam loses maybe 20% of it's springiness fairly early on), good enough for me to be using at work again daily and being impressed with how they feel. Just don't expect the really soft sole to last a long time.

COMFORT YES,BUT NOT DURABLE
Predictably for Sketchers these are comfortable and lightweight. For simple occasional casual walking around the shops okay but the sole has no substance to it and wears very quickly.Mine polished off within three months.

Not tracking trainers
I bought these Sketchers to take my dogs out walking.I have only had them a month and not fit for purpose. The sole as worn through and the laces are worn. Not the Sketchers I'm used too.£60.00 paid to wear out in a month?Must be sub standard being sold.Memory fome insert not working, feel the sole ridges making them uncomfortable to ware long works.Definitely not value for money. This is the first time I have ever given a bad review..

3rd pair I've owned
Comfortable shoes, plenty of support, and light weight too. This is my 3rd pair that I've purchased, and they are my go to, for wearing for long periods of time. They seem to run true to size, and the extra wide, is perfect for my needs.

I like them
Cheaper than the local shoe store or the Sketchers store . I especially like the Goodyear rubber soles which should hold up better for my walks to the gym then the other brands or other Sketchers sneakers I've owned . I walk 3 miles , 3 days a week on concrete sidewalks which wears out footwear quickly . Plus all of my footware wear out prematurely on the outside of the heals the fastest . So hopefully these soles will hold up better . They are comfortable especially with the memory foam inserts . They are fashionable enough for a mans liking yet light enough as to not feel like I'm walking in cement shoes . Un fortunately there were only 2 colors available in my size so I bought the black / blue combination which was not a deal breaker . My feet are narrow so using the narrowest width is best . Now only time will tell if indeed the soles on these will last longer .
