Have the original and love it too. I bought the mini for easier travel. It is adorably small but mighty. The sound is great! As you can see in my pic it fits in my hand won’t add any bulk to your bags. Such a great value for the price.

The media could not be loaded.  The volume is way too low. I tried to use it in my car and I can barely hear it. I’m about to leave it beside my bed to play music at night since that’s as loud as it will go

We will start with the good. It sounds good. Not great, but good. Considering what I paid for this ($18 on Black Friday) it's fine. I had NO problem pairing it with my iPhone 7 & it played back without an issue. So based on that, it does what it claims for the MOST part. Now onto the bad ...It says it has an Aux port in Amazon's description. It does NOT ! This is something I was very keen on & it may be a deal breaker for me. Depends on how well it plays off of the SD card. Also, they include a small Lanyard with a rubber ring on it. It is clear where they expect you to attach it .... I understand the PROCESS to do so .... but it's IMPOSSIBLE. All they had to do was make it a closed loop. A small tunnel .... you push the cord in one side, it pops out the other. They did NOT do that .... it opens into the case of the player. So if you push one end of the cord in, it will go in & in & In ... but it doesn't come out the other hole. And they are TINY ! There is no going in there with a pair of tweezers & trying to grab the string. After a few minutes I gave up. I don't care THAT much !Finally the "directions" are laughable. They have a picture of the 4 buttons & the charging port, and a brief explanation of the multiple functions of each. Between the long, short & double presses I got confused. Will look up on the internet if there are any better descriptions.All in all, its a nice little speaker that is worth the near 20 dollars i spent. But it misrepresented the features , and gives you barely ANY direction on how to use it. If you still want to have a go at it after reading this review, by all means do so. I might find a use for it ... or I might return it. Either way I will update this in about a week. Until then CAVEAT EMPTOR !UPDATE: I am keeping the speaker. The reason why is that it works wonderfully when playing off of the Micro SD card. Sounds great & works immediately after you turn it on. I have decided that because of that functionality, an AUX port is no longer an absolute requirement. I am still irritated that the Amazon page mis-represented the functionality but I am okay with it !
