This Spirulina is top quality and super healthy. The health benefits of Spirulina are endless. I use this in my morning kale/spinach smoothies. It does have the normal grassy Spirulina taste that most must grow accustomed to so you might want to start with a quarter tsp. until you are used to the flavor. I never realized until now that I lacked energy or just didn't feel that great. I haven't eaten meat in about 3 years so I had my blood drawn to see if I was deficient in anything. My doctor said I had a very low iron level so I started taking iron pills. The side effects were horrible. I tried several different types but still didn't feel great. I had heard of spirulina, so since I had started juicing again I decided to try it in my juice. Now I must warn you it does stink like fish food, but I put in my juice or smoothie and I don't even taste it. My energy levels about a week after starting spirulina have been through the roof! Last week I worked 8 hours then came home and cleaned my house like crazy for another 8 hours. I had to make myself go to bed. I have so much energy I really cannot believe it!! The only thing I can attribute it to is the spirulina. I had been juicing and feeling a little better, this is beyond what I could have expected. I never even realized how bad I was before now. I will be ordering again for sure.

The package arrived fast and in good condition. It was not labeled much at all, and very little came with it, so you just have to assume it is what it is (that is why I gave 4 stars not 5). It is an extremely fine dark green powder. My first attempt was a little too much, I mixed a bunch of it with plain water and gagged trying to drink it, it is Algae so it does taste like swamp - just so you don't have delusions of grandeur like I did. My next attempt I mixed about 1/2 Tablespoon in to about 1 cup of Pomegranite juice - both because that is the strongest tasting juice on the market, and the only thing I had. It was certainly drink-able just tasted a little different, not bad at all. My plan is to work up the concentration as I build a tolerance.I did feel pretty good after drinking it, a boost spike of energy and mood, but obviously can't speak to any long term affects or fundamental health benefits. If i remember I'll update this review in 6 months after some long term use.

Really great stuff. Adds a bit of pep to the walk, has a wonderful taste, and the body loves it. I add it to my daily green drink to make it even greener and healthier.

This product is not organic as advertised. They are not honest. They are falsely advertising it as a USDA certified. But if they are asked the proof they don’t give you straight answers. They should not be allowed to sell their products at Amazon.comThey don’t allow you to return the product if the packet is opened. Don’t buy this product. Don’t waste your money. Who knows what kind of toxic chemicals are in this product? Once they are inside your body with the bio-magnification the toxic level will become several times higher.

bought it, price was good. Decided to add some protein to my families juicing exploits. Smells horrible no other way to explain it. Decided to not let my kids smell it and I just add it to the juice. It took a few trys to get the right amount in the juice that was undetectable to my kids but i found a happy medium. By the way it does taste kind of gross too but when mixed with the juice its doable. i dont notice any difference in the before or after since adding it but since we have a pound + W'ell use it all up.

Love this product very high quality and super fresh its great for overall health all i know is my hair skin and nails is growing like crazy!!!!

I find it mixes better with water than the Now product, and for some reason I find the taste more palatable. The smell is very potent, but that says quality to me.I add a little honey to my drink and have no problem consuming this with water every am. Blend in an organic apple, and it's downright good!I will purchase this again.
