Super Great
Best whole seed mustard you'll ever have. There is a family in France who invented prepared mustard in the 1600s. Same family produces the same recipe to this day. You can buy a crock of it right here on Amazon for about $17. I've got one in my fridge. Love it. But this mustard is better. I buy the 6 pack squeeze bottles about every other month. Sometimes I just grab a tablespoon and eat it straight.

Not the cheapest, but good to have on hand.
We use this a lot in lunches with canned chicken from Costco. We mix this grainy mustard with the chicken, avocado mayonnaise, and poultry spices, and it makes for a delicious lunch with gluten-free crackers. It's nice to be able to find it in bulk, especially in the squeeze container. If and when stores even carry this variety of mustard, they usually only offer it in a small glass jar.

The best!
The best mild mustard on the market. Great seed crunch and vinegar flavor. My wife uses it in her steak rub when searing or baking. It is also awesome on a sandwich. I feel the gourmet superiority over the burn of dijon. I probably wouldn't waste it on a hotdog.

Great taste and convenient bottles!
This mustard has just the right amount of full bodied flavored. It has grain but doesn't taste grainy. It's a well rounded delicious mustard. I use it in crackers with cheese for entertaining. I use it to make salad dressing and I use it for cooking and baking.I love the squeeze bottles. It keeps things clean and fresh. This was a great value!

Prefer glass container; mustard is 5⭐️
I thought I would like the squeeze dispenser. However, it’s practically impossible to get the bottom fifth out. Squeezing does not work; gravity might if you have a lot of patience.Less $ per ounce but not worth the hassle for me.

Clearly, I've Been Missing Out. This is Delicious!
Before I received this, I ignorantly thought that I had a fairly rounded out mustard variety in our fridge. I have the humble yellow mustard, a kid-favorite honey mustard, spicy brown mustard and Dijon mustard. In fact, I have more mustard on hand than anyone I know, because I enjoy it, and a variety of it. But I have never heard or seen of a mustard such as this, much less tasted this delectable condiment. I've been missing out. If you've not tried this, so have you. It is a treat, with a somewhat familiar mustard taste, but with pleasant pops of whole mustard seeds throughout. I was worried that the seeds would get stuck in my teeth or gums, but although the seeds have a pleasant crunch and pop, they've not given me any problems (yet) in that way.I had given this a tentative taste after opening the bottle, then immediately sought out something to put it on. I ended up using some chicken (although I thought it would be even better if I had some Jewish Rye bread and corned beef). I made do with the chicken and this just made it so much more yummy, a delightful taste experience. I'm in love. This is a whole other wonderful world of mustard I've never experienced before. Can one get more mustard-y than a jar of whole mustard seeds suspended in the perfect amount of vinegar and seasonings? I think not. This is delicious. If you enjoy mustard, you must try this. Thanks for reading.

Excellent mustard
My primary taste test of this product has been as a marinade for baking salmon. I squeezed (easily, I might add) two good tablespoons on top of a pound of salmon with some lemon juice. That was it, as I expected the mustard to provide a vinegary taste along with the needed salt. The salmon tasted great and the mustard flavor was not as overpowering as I had expected, but perhaps I should have used more mustard for an even better experience. When taste testing a tad bit of the mustard "plain", unlike regular Maille dijon, I did not find this "old style" to be too spicy to the palate. The mustard seeds inside did not bother me during consumption. Despite Maille being a French product, note this version sold in the US is made in Canada, so perhaps is watered down for our tastes. For the Maille brand in North America, a few dollars per bottle/jar is not unheard of, so the price for six bottles is reasonable. The jars I received had a best by date about 10 months out, but personally, I don't think mustard will go bad that quickly. It will take me a while to go through six bottles, I'll probably give a couple away, but then be back to buy some more in a year or so!
