I got these because i was getting frequent problems and dont want to keep getting prescription rx every few months. I read a lot of reviews about 1, 3, 7 and decided on 3. 1 day might be too potent? 7 days takes too long. So 3 seems like a happy medium. Many reviewers say they experience severe burning sensation and i was very nervous. Luckily there was none. It was easy to use and not messy. Works well. I feel better and improved after use. I was also taking the AZO yeast plus relief pills so im not sure if that helped to counter any burning. I recommend other people give that a try. Its not expensive. Less than $10. But if it helps minimize burning then its worth a try.

Due to having a poor immune system I am often on antibiotics that ALWAYS ALWAYS inevitably leave me with a yeast infection from hell. Absolutely NOTHING works for me EXCEPT for the MONISTAT (specifically THREE DAY OVULE version)! The 1 day treatment makes my hoo-ha feel like it's burning with the fire of a thousand sons, and the suppository tube ones are gross and digusting and leave me leaking like a faucet. All the versions come with external cream which IMMEDIATELY helps with EXTERNAL (no NOT put this cream INSIDE YOU!) relief, and I'm practically better by day 2 but always finish the 3rd ovule to make sure I knocked it out. I will ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS use this product and I hope they never discontinue it. I know it sounds tempting to do the quick 1 day version but I am promising you, you will be in for a world of pain! The 3 day ovules work great and with the cream providing immediate relief, I'm 90% fine by day #2. They need to discontinue the messy tube version and the 1 day version and only sell this one because it works like magic!!

I’ve had many yeast infections before, but this was my first time trying Monistat. I usually just get the fluconazole prescription from my doctor and that works great, but I found this and was curious to see if it would work. I got the 3-day version, with the 3 suppositories and the itch relief cream. The application was pretty simple for me, I think because I’ve worn tampons and it’s a super similar idea. I read a ton of reviews mentioning an intense burning/pain from the medication, so I was honestly pretty scared about that, but I had absolutely NO burning, NO discomfort whatsoever. The only thing I noticed was that on the days after I had the suppository, I did have some extra discharge/leaking throughout the day so you should definitely wear a panty liner if that bothers you. I think maybe the burning happens for people who have been scratching down there a ton? If you give in to the itchiness of a yeast infection, you’re just irritating the whole area and making it worse. Since I’ve had yeast infections before, I tried really hard to not itch at all and I think that helped me avoid the burning. Anyways, I’ve just finished with the 3rd night/ 3rd applicator, and I think it worked great. I’m not feeling any more irritation/itchiness/weird discharge due to a yeast infection. But I’ll update if any of my symptoms come back. I definitely suggest that if this doesn’t work for you, just go to your doctor to see what the best option for you is.

I prefer to just use the cream when I can, but when it's real bad or persistent, I'll go for one of these. They seem to randomly sting really bad or not for me. Eating less cane sugar, putting pau d'arco bark in my coffee, soaking underwear in vinegar between washes and changing every night and every morning... I'm slowly getting YIs less. Prevention is always better than a cure, but in a pinch, these work.

I have never dealt with a yeast infection before. I know it says on the box "Do not use if you have never had a vaginal yeast infection diagnosed by a doctor" With how things are I certainly did not want to have to go to the hospital/clinic to see a doctor. So I looked around for over the counter options. Then I found this, Monistat 3-Day Yeast Infection Treatment | Ovules + Itch Cream. My symptoms weren't severe, but enough that I wanted something that would work quickly. I SPECIFICALLY ordered the ovules instead of any of the cream options as I had heard they had better reviews. I used it right before bed, had no problems inserting the ovules. If you use tampons inserting it shouldn't be a problem at all. It felt funny at first but there was no burning sensation or any other side affects. I would suggest using a liner, just because I noticed when I got up in the morning it did leak out some. I used it every night for 4 days just to be on the safe side ( I ordered 2 boxes), along with the anti-itch cream. Worked like a charm!! No more itching, and odor of discharge and amount seems back to normal! :) I would recommend giving the ovule option a try.
