New seasoning better than old!!
We have used Lawry's Chili Spices and Seasonings Mix for many many years. The old one had MSG in it and I was hesitant to get more. But thankfully this new one does not have the MSG in it. Only natural ingredients. And this makes the best chili ever. They stopped carrying it in our local grocery stores so I was thrilled to find it on Amazon. I brown the ground beef with onions and bell peppers until no longer pink and add 2 packets of the seasoning and saute until meat is coated. I then add the water to loosen the bits on the bottom of the pot and add 2 cans diced tomatoes and a can of Rot-el tomatoes, 2 cans of kidney beans and a can of black beans. The family said it was the best they ever had! I got 2 boxes of them and they freeze well!

The Best!
This is the best Chili seasoning packet around. Used Lawry’s for years now, and I won’t ever use another chili seasoning brand. It has just the right blend of spices!

BEST CHILI MIX - BAR NONE!
I have been making chili for over 50 years now and I've used all kinds of mixes and recipes. I tried Lowery's about 40 years ago and found the perfect one! I use to be able to buy it at all the grocery stores and now, none of them carry Lowery's! I have to buy it on line (but it's worth it!) I made a pot of chili over the weekend and my husband said it was the best chili he's ever had. I do tweek it a bit, but I do that with most everything I cook!

Great seasoning
Excellent flavor and easy to make. My wife likes to add a can of diced tomatoes and chili beans to the seasoned hamburger meat. I like it with just the seasoned hamburger and some added water with thickened beef broth

I make chili all the time and have tried other packets. Nothing compares to this one. I always get so many compliments. Everyone always wants the recipe! PLEASE DON'T DISCONTINUE THIS!!

Lawry’s Chili Spices and Seasonings
Made my regular chili dinner and have always used the Lawry’s Chili Spices and Seasoning. However, this batch seemed lacking in their usual ‘punch’ of heat so was a little disappointed. I’d still recommend trying it. I might just have needed more heat.
