I take forever to buy things like this because I read every review.. that’s why I had to review this myself. This is a tension rod, I needed one to separate a room. Went to Home Depot and was discouraged, with two different employees telling me it couldn’t be done due to length. Being a person not easily dissuaded I spent a few hours going back and forth with the idea. I ended up saying h*** with it, if it doesn’t work it doesn’t. First, it came very quick, second very easy to put together, third, it worked perfectly. It was exactly what I wanted, and did exactly what I wanted it to do, and looks great. I am not being paid by anyone, nor did I receive anything for free, I’m just telling it straight …it’s sturdy, very sturdy considering I needed 140”. I have a cat who loves to run through the curtains, and it doesn’t move. If you are looking for the same thing, or similar purpose, just buy this. I promise you will not be disappointed. I had one other person helping me, and that’s about the only concession, it’s easier with a second,but def. Can be done alone. Now you know, just buy the damn thing

They went up perfectly even just doing it myself. The instructions were practical and helpful. I love that I can adjust these in SO MANY lengths! It makes it worth the value to know that I can still used them even if I move down the road. Mine are extended to 148" and have 4- 90" panels on them.

I purchased this and it seemed very strong. It is strong but not has strong as I would expect, my kids loved the curtains and it came down. So to combat that, I had to buy holders at each end to support it more in order to prevent it from falling on someone’s head. Other than that, it did the job and it looks pretty good.

I needed a long rod to hang curtains to help block the sun and reduce the heat on my screened porch. This rod worked perfectly and was easy to assemble.

In my parents' apartment, there's a hallway that measures 37" x 88" leading to my old bedroom and bathroom. The ceiling is pretty tall at 96 inches from floor to ceiling. I've moved back in when the pandemic began to help them. They are 80yo both with Alzheimer's. I took over all their daily tasks and chores.I started air drying my parents clothes, towels, and beddings, but I need a place to hang them without blocking our paths. I've been using shower rods at my place for air drying my clothes. However, this durable tension rod allows the concept to air dry with a much expanded length of 88 inches. That's a whole lot more clothes to wash and dry at the same time. Picture me doing small laundry daily and air drying daily due to limited amount of clothes I can air dry. I also gotten a hanger hook (as shown hanging in front of the jacket) to avoid using my 3 level ladder as I don't want to fall. This will help me reach the clothes hanging from a couple inches from the ceiling. Lots of room to walk around my hallway with this rod. I'm thankful for providing this product that can withhold heavy and wet clothes to air dry. I'll be back to get more of this item. Shipping arrived on date as promised.

so easy to set up no tools no drilling.

I received this product with a defective spring clip--a very basic piece of hardware used in countless telescoping tube type products like this. This tiny item that probably costs pennies to make came with the push button so poorly attached to the spring that it popped right off the spring--utterly broken and unusable--the very first time I slid the tube out past an opening.Fortunately this spring clip item is pretty available on line; and I had calipers to measure the proper button diameter. Rather than return the entire item I ordered a set of extra spring clips on line. Hopefully they will fit OK (proper tension,etc.)This was aggravating, as was my interaction with an Amazon representative when I tried to request a refund for the $4.66 order of spring clips. Apparently they can only reimburse for returned items and the representative could not figure out how to reimburse me for spring clips that I wanted to keep, so she gave me a promotional credit worth a little bit more than the clips.All seems to be working out, assuming the clips I ordered work well, and the product itself seems sturdy enough. I'd probably give this product a 4 or even 5 star rating if aa functional clip had been included.

This is definitely good value for the money. I had to try several expandable rods for my living room window, and this one holds the curtain without issues. It is sturdy and easy to assemble and install. I would buy again.

These arrived very promptly, are super easy to assemble, and the quality is very good. They came with an extra cap (for each end) which I really like, just in case there’s any wear over time, although they don’t seem like they’ll wear easily or quickly. I’m using them vertically and for an unusual purpose, to attach netting on my balcony between the floor and ceiling so that my cat won’t jump off and escape or hurt herself. Strata (who enforce the rules in my apartment building ) won’t allow any drilling (e.g. for hooks), and a suction hook or Command removable hook won’t stick to the balcony walls, & other options would potentially damage the walls (painted porous concrete walls with a slightly textured/uneven surface). These tension rods are sturdy, and very easy to install and adjust if required. The netting I’m using isn’t heavy and doesn’t catch the wind, so not a lot of strain is put on them, so they are more than adequate to stay solidly in place. They’re easy to move or remove if/when required, won’t leave any marks on walls/ceiling/floor, are slim enough that they don’t obstruct the view, and have a good range for adjusting the length.

Needed to put curtains up to screen my bedroom from the living room in a rental bed-sit. Can't screw stuff to the wall and it's a 5 foot wide space. Chose the Oxdigi tension extendable rod (110-160cm) to fit the gap and I'm thrilled with the result. It was very easy to extend and put up - did it all by myself in less than half an hour - I'm a pensioner lady of 75 yrs so took my time! The Oxdigi is a sturdy metal pole and sticks to the wall really well under tension. I reckon it'd last for years. Very happy customer! Highly recommend.

I bought these for wall to wall 9 foot wide bed room windows with heavy linen drapes and they began to slip a bit. I just added a square of two sided tape to each end and they’ve been up for 2 years no problem. I purchased another one for a 36” wide closet and I can literally hang all the heavy winter jackets and it doesn’t budge. It has a heavy duty spring which works well. The end pieces are rubber so with the tension of the sharp tube ends it probably bites into the rubber a bit at first. It’s best to install for a few days and see if you can tighten it one more notch after it settles. Mine will hold 150lbs but the closet is only 36” wide. With a 9’ span it will hold 40-50lbs. I recommend this product.
