The media could not be loaded.  I purchased this for one of my dear furbabies that is getting on in years and has a little trouble bending down to eat. This dish is perfect for him. It measures almost 3" in height, the diameter of the bowl portion is 4.25", and the depth of the bowl is about 1.25". It is a ceramic dish with a clear glaze on it. It is microwave and dishwasher safe which is another plus for me. This dish makes it so much easier for him to eat. I am so proud to have found this for him. Anything that will make things easier for him is a big thumbs up from me.

I end up brought the whole set of these bowls water, treat and large food bowl. They came in well packed and made. I don't have a problem about the size. They're perfect for my cat. =^o^=

Pictures: large vs regular. The black kitty (9lbs) is using the regular size. She can still crouch and eat from it. The tabby (15lbs) is using the large. He has to sit to eat from the large but I'm afraid the regular size would be too small. The sizes are very different. They look nice, and my cats seem more comfortable. They have a habit of throwing up their food so hopefully this will help. I've only had them a few days, but so far so good!

I love the raised bowl idea. This helps our older felines to enjoy a good meal.However... Utilizing these bowls for wet/canned food? Well, the cats never finished a meal or got down to the bottom.Bowl too deep? Don't know and can't explain. Which is the only reason I did not give a 5 star rating.So.... Here is my secret for making these raised bowls a success, I use them as a pedestal. I have "several" small semi flat dishes that I picked up at a thrift store that I use to feed the cats. These smaller/flatter dishes fit perfectly into the raised cat bowls so in a way, I do love them- but not as they were intended to be used. Either way, I did not return them and if one got broken I would certainly buy a replacement. I hope this makes sense to you. :)Perhaps a picture is worth a thousand words.

I love these bowls! They're so adorable! I know I few reviewers think the food bowls are too small, which I initially thought as well, but it offers the perfect serving size. One of my kitties is quite a sloppy eater and the height helps him eat over the bowl. He's still a mess, but less so.

I was pretty excited to use this product because of the benefits of raised food and water bowls, but after using it for about 3 1/2 months, it gave one of my cats (not both for whatever reason) lip sores known as Rodent ulcers. I went to the vet and she recommended a stainless steel bowl. I immediately ordered one and changed nothing else about my cat's life. Three weeks later the sores are gone. I wish I could have returned it, but it was past the return window, so I gave this bowl to a friend because maybe their cat won't be sensitive to it. I'd never used stainless steel bowls before, always using bowls I had laying around from Target or Crate and Barrel meant for human use. I'm not sure why this bowl gave my cat an allergic reaction, but I thought people should know.

This is exactly what i had been searching for.My cat has arthritis in one of her front shoulder joints & i thought this would be ideal so that she doesnt have to crouch to eat & its the perfect height for her. Its 3inches high.It china & it looks great & she just ate from it without any hesitation at all. It means she doesn`t have to stoop or bend her front legs whilst eating & i would highly recommend this for any cat & not just for the older cats.I think i now need to buy the matching water bowl to keep my pampered puss happy lol.It also arrived very well packaged & in pristine condition.

Really nice quality- our cat definitely makes less mess and I do think it's easier for her to eat from- even though she has no particular special needs. I like the size as we feed her 3/4 times a day and don't like putting too much wet food down at one time. This will happily hold half a packet of a typical sized food pouch. If you tend to feed your cat in one go you may find it too small. But we are happy with our purchase and instead of using several dishes through the daye w now wash this each time- easy with a bit of hot water.

We bought this for one of our cats who had to wear an elizabethan collar for a long time after a major operation. She was struggling to eat out of ordinary food dishes, and particularly with wet food which would end up all over the collar.It was much easier for her to eat from this dish, and also meant her collar stayed cleaner. It made such a difference that we bought a second one.They are expensive, but they are good quality and I couldn't find any cheaper alternative.

Arrived very quickly. Not as tall as I would have liked, and the bowl area is very small, also the food is easily pushed out of the bowl, would be better if it were slightly tilted! Other than that, good quality, easy to clean, and nice general design.
