Let the sun shine all around, but not under here!!
These are the best Sun Shade Sails. We live in Arizona, where it's hotter tan H*LL and the sun beats down relentlessly, so even if you are not outside, you still must have shade in your back yard! We purchased a grey 16' x 20' one. I love it so much, I do wish We had purchased a larger one!, but really wish we had decided on a larger one to shade more of our back yard. The shade is very nice, but the this particular Shade Sail, from this particular Company (ClourTree) has heavy-duty hardware on the ends to secure it. This is why we made our choice. Instead of just flimsy little D-rings on ones that will tear or rip off, these look like they with withstand being stretched and the wind that tears down others. We wanted a solid product and we are going to put this one to the test, since it is guaranteed for 5 years and the company stresses "Your 100% satisfaction is our goal".

careful planning and measurements
Snug tighten all your allen screws on the super ring corners before you stretch the sail. After securely mounting the fixed point hardware to whatever you are stretching from (structure perhaps), use ratchet straps to stretch the sail till the cable is buried completely into the super ring corners and tight. Next install the turnbuckle assembly and hardware to the fixed corner mounts using the SS cable kit you'll need to buy. Use chains in this set up, I strongly recommend it, you'll see why. From the super ring corners to the fixed mounting point, I used a heavy shackle, and the cable loop on that end, then the other end toward the structure a turnbuckle, then the chain to a carabiner clip, then to the fixed mounted ring. Super easy set up. Take up all the slack you can with the chain on all corners where there is a chain, then tighten the turnbuckles alternately till that perimeter cable is completely buried into the super rings and the ratchet straps begin to slacken. Then remove the ratchet straps and you should be done if its still holding together and your mounts are solid. Its a piece of cake, this company could not have made it any easier to install DYI. Zoom the hardware pix for clarity. Don't use less than three turnbuckles on four corners, if you are using a direct connect corner like i did, pay close attention to how you are stretching your set up and do your best to get a 45* angle from the corners to you mounting points, that is somewhat important.

This Thing is a Beast
I ordered a 24 foot by 24 foot grey sail and got it hung up. I had about 20 MPH winds and a sail corner failed tearing the sail slightly. I contacted the company and they made getting a replacement very easy. I got the new sail up and had it tightened with four steel corner posts. Theses corner posts are strong steel square tubing about 4 by 4 inches set in a lot of concrete. Well, we had the worse storm I have seen in six years of living here. My entire family watched wind at 30mpg with 40 mph gusts ripped through with heavy rain and half inch hail. The sail was moving with the wind after being stretched tight and it would sag about three feet then moved up with the wind. The steel posts were flexing. I had a wire with lights and you could see it go slack. This sale handled it all. It is beautiful and I get tons of compliments. Knowing the quality of their product and that they stand behind their sails, I ordered two more and a fence privacy screen. I will only order from Colourtree.

Canopy shade in open spaces
I love the canopy shade, it provides shade for my cars and outside area where i can sit and enjoy the breeze with my friends without getting burnt by the sun. it is easy to install but you will need help in doing so initially. The only thing it should have come with a paper instructions. nothing wrong with the video , but i had to watch two video to see the various ways it can be installed before doing so. It is a great product from ColourTree.

Best built sun shade sail.
The quality of the sail material is the best I have seen. The SS cable running through it and the corner pieces are all very high quality. I would like to point out that I had installed this just before our 70 MPH winds hit, the wind pulled a 2" pipe that had been strapped to a block wall with 4 straps off. The shade was still in perfect condition, had to re-engineer that mounting point so as to not pull the pipe from the wall again. Would definitely buy this brand again.

Love it!
The first one we received was full of holes, we only had two days left to reorder when we opened it because we was waiting for help to put in some post. They sent us a new one and we love it. We are right off of a lake and sometimes it gets pretty windy and it holds up good

You will not be disappointed!!
Such a sturdy sail shade! Great over the pool and not having to wear sunscreen!! It also kept our pool water at a cooler temp!!! That’s very important here in Arizona! We also had some rain and wind and it held up very well.

Survived the storm
3 Days after installation a huge storm came through - much more severe than we thought it's going to be. We were helplessly watching and waiting in anticipation for the sail to rip as it was slammed to the ground while flower pots and chairs were being swung across the yard. The net probably stretched a little bit but it survived the storm with a couple of scratches.... while one of the thick metal anchored poles it was tied to completely bent!
