The color is a beaaaauuutiful pink and although it showed up in a vacuum-sealed bag, it wasn't wrinkly when I opened it. It didn't have a smell at all as stated in other reviews I saw. I am returning it for an XS though. I got the S and it is huge through the middle. I am 5'10" and 140 pounds. This thing definitely runs large. Size down 1 if not 2 sizes! The 2 pom-poms are unattached when you receive it. They come with 2 tiny safety pins for attaching. They are not a snap attachment. We will see how the XS works for me. It might end up too small in the chest and still too big in the middle. If there were an XXS, that might be what I would need for the middle. Glad that the item ships fast. It got here on a Tuesday when I ordered it on a Sunday. And the exchange will be here in 3 days as well.

I was contemplating on not purchasing this because some of the reviews said it runs small and the extra large was sold out. I purchased large then canceled my purchase, but being that I liked it so much I decided to give it a shot and i repurchased it which I dont regret. It's heavy enough to wear during spring and fall and It fit so nice that I rushed and ordered the olive color as well. I'm 5'8" 160lbs with some unwanted weight in the mid section and large fits fine with extra room. It sits mid thigh. I can do without the little balls but they are easily removable because they are attached with a tiny button with a thin piece of elastic.

Smaller than I'd hoped... I love that it came vacuum packed. It was fun to open. I really love the look..it's exactly what I was needing for work I'd hoped for a larger fit ..over my bulky winter working clothes... As it is it's almost a first layer not a final layer as I was needing. My first thoughts were to keep this one for dressy and get a second one bigger for work but they don't make a bigger size... so I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet.. UPDATE.... I did keep this one..it makes an awesome robe and a good throw for fast errands.... but zipping it...forget it! I will keep looking for larger sizes!

I really like the vest but will have to return because large is not fitting me. I would need an XL BUT they do NOT offer XL. Trying to return. :-( (I normally wear a Large - Size 12-14)

Nice looking, seems well made, fits easily over bulky sweater, good amount of body warmth and wind protection. Lose the pom poms. They cheapen the vest.

I was so hesitant on what size to purchase based on the reviews. I’m typically a medium in all clothing, sometimes even go up to a large to make things a little longer/bigger, and the size medium in this was perfect! I’m 160 pound right now because I just had a baby, but this will still be perfect even when I lose the baby weight. The zipper isn’t the best quality but not a deal breaker. Also the pockets are up higher, which is a bit weird, but not a deal breaker. Warm and great quality for price! Will purchase another color.

I am keeping and enjoying this vest because I like the color and the length. The Small is large on me (5'5", 125#) but that's OK because I will be layering under it. It needs to have had 2 snaps along the torso, not just one; one doesn't hold. At this length, it needs a 2-way zipper. It's an inexpensive garment so the snaps don't hold and the insulation is heavy and bulky. But it's a good piece for living in the mountains.

Just received the vest today and was surprised that the hood is detachable. I am a true medium size and fit is as expected. Happy with the purchase. Item looks expensive and well made! Only complaint is that you cannot adjust the hood. You have to use a beanie under the hood so the hood will not keep slipping. Anyway so happy with the purchase.
