Q: Can these be used on the rear legs?

Sint boots are a front leg protective device. Their are back leg protectors that would be much better

Hello, I originally purchased the medium size boots. They were too small for my 16.2 thoroughbred, but maybe only by an inch or two. I had to order the large. I went on the Professional's Choice website as well as called them before ordering the medium and still ended up with a boot that didn't fit. I would be worried that the mediums could be a bit long for your horse. Try calling them or checking the website though for size charts. The problem is, I don't think they had a size chart for this exact boot. I tried to compare to what others said on amazon. Anyway, now that I have the large size boots, I love them. My trainer is hard to please, and she is also very happy. They fit snugly with the velcro and provide a lot of protection. Hope this helps.

I'm so sorry that I forgot to answer this. It's probably too late. My horse sweats a lot in general, so it's hard to say if it's the boots that cause additional sweating. Also, i bought these for my trainer to use and I usually use wraps. Anyway, the boots are easy to use and I'm pleased with them.

Q: How do I know what size fits best ?
