Dearfoams Women's Cozy Memory Foam Indoor Rebecca Closed Back House Ballet Slipper with Wide Widths

The slippers are very cute and soft, BUT they are nowhere near true to size. An XL fits a size 9. I bought these for my mother-n-law who wears a size 11 and I couldn't even get them on her feet. I knew they looked small, but I was hopeful. I decided to try them on myself. I am a true size 9 and they fit me perfectly. Beware. The XL will not fit a size 11-12, they are fit for a 9-10.

I FINALLY FOUND SLIPPERS I LIKE. I wanted something in a slim loafer style but still plush and cozy. There's tons of the enormous furry type slippers out there and ultra thin and stiff fashion smoking slippers but it was really hard finding a middle ground. They're padded all the way around with what seems to be good quality cushioning that doesn't get instantly misshapen or make weird sounds. The cushioning isn't thick or orthopedic-like with support however, just more so fluffy and cozy. The sole is a flexible but kind of thick non-slip rubber. I really wasn't looking for a thick rubber sole but it's not stiff at all and absorbs walking impact. I had tried many other pairs without a thick rubber bottom fearing that it would be too clog-like but this is really just a bonus on this design because it's super comfy and bends! I have a narrow heel also and these are the ONLY pair of any flat/loafer/slipper that has not come off my heel in recent shoe-trying-on-trips. I'm a size 7 and bought the 7-8. This size may be too narrow in the toe for some 8's. The fabric is velvety and looks nicer than i expected while also being fuzzy but not super hot like fleece. The embroidery looks good...honestly impressed with the look since many styles from this brand are more frumpy.

This product does indeed run too small. I had to return it and go up a size. Once I receive the new ones, they fit grest. They are very soft and comfortable. You can wear this in or out doors because the bottom of the shoe is rubber.Now if you choose to wear them with your foot bending the heel flap, they are uncomfortable, it is ment to be worn w/the whole foot in the slipper.

I've been buying these Dearfoams every few years and the size 7-8 medium-width slippers have always fit my size 6 wide feet. But this time they fit snug across the instep. I could tell by looking at them out of the box that they are cut narrower than in past years. I hope they will relax with wear. There are no wide widths available.

I'm giving them 4 stars based on arrival...I would definately go a size up. I've included a pic of my size 7 blowfish sneakers to compare against the size 9-10 size dearfoam slippers...so they run small as many reviewers have stated. Can't speak on wear and tear yet bc they just arrived today.

Dearfoam is a company that has been around for a long time.I looked at their size chart, picked my choices so I knew what size to pick. I wear a Size 8 or 8 1/2 shoe, but I have very wide feet, so I ordered these slippers in a Size Large, which is 9-10, which is also the recommended size. My feet almost reach the top of the slipper, and across the front of my foot it feels a little snug, tight, but if I had ordered these slippers in an extra large they probably would feel better across the front of my foot, but then I could be swimming in them.Slippers seem almost as hard for me to fit correctly as shoes! They say you can machine wash the slippers, but I would be worried that they would shrink. Then they really wouldn't fit! I am hoping that with wear they might stretch out a bit. Otherwise, I do like these slippers.

BUYER BEWARE!! I thought this was a very well-made slipper, until I turned it over yesterday and found that in less than two months, the sole of the right shoe split right across the ball of the foot!! I gave it two stars because while it lasted it was comfortable, although a little snug for a medium.

I was looking for warm slippers that were not: ballet slippers, socks, moccasins, wool lined (Ugg) or bulky booties.These are exactly as described: plush velour with matching black embroidered design on the top. The entire slipper is padded lightly and soft. The foot bed is indeed memory foam. They will be entirely washable in the washing machine. The sole is solid enough to wear to the mailbox.Fit: they cover half of the top of my foot. So if you are looking for ballet slipper type slippers this may not be what you want. I also did not want full foot coverings. I wear an 8.5 or a 9 (in a heel) so I ordered the 9 - 10 size; they just fit my toe goes to the top of the slipper. I have a regular width foot and there is room for a wide foot with these. The issue for some may be length - so if you are on the edge of the size range you may want to size up they only come in full sizes.I mostly appreciate that these are not clunky appearing. They could almost pass for regular loafers.Updated: 1.8.17At the risk of embarrassing myself with 30 million mobile app (DMR statistics accessed 1.8.17) will share that wearing these slippers for two days in the house has softened my feet / heels. We are gripped in deep cold and the heat had been drying my feet out.

Hard to get proper slippers these days bought for my 91 year old mum. Perfect for round the house and outside. Bought medium- 5 uk

As with all previous Dearfoam slippers, perfect fit and very cozy. Lovely cushioned sole. Worth the extra cost to Have them sent from USA.

These are great slippers, good quality and very comfortable. That being said, beware when it comes to the size: I normally wear a size 8 or 8.5 shoe. However, I bought these slippers in a size Large - which is supposed to fit a size 9-10 shoe - and they were perfect. So they're definitely made small. If you normally wear a size 9 or above, these won't fit.

These Dearfoams Women's Leopard Print Microfiber Velour Closed Back Slippers ARE NOT the same quality as what we bought for years from Sears Canada! Do not know if they are knockoffs or what, but less than 60 DAYS after starting to wear them, the soles are worn and dangerously slippery AND they have cracked right through.. Who want to wear a pair of slippery slippers with no traction whatsoever! Cannot read anywhere if Made in China, but NOT SAME QUALITY AS previous Sears Canada slippers that would last over 1 YEAR>.
