Embark Adventure Dog Raincoat - Lightweight, Reflective Waterproof Rain Jacket for Dogs Jacket - Small Blue

I've purchased and used a variety of raincoats with multiple dogs I've owned over the years. This particular coat wins the grand prize -- it looks quite nice, it does a great job of protecting my dog from getting soaking wet in the rain, the velcro fastening feels very secure, and even more importantly, it is easy to adjust its fit to the shape of my dog. I am indeed a happy customer!

I like this raincoat for my mini Aussie who weights 17 pounds. The small fits her well, but I would like it to be another 3 inches longer on the top and bottom rear area. It is easy to put on and keeps most of the rain off of her. I also love that I can have a harness under this and the raincoat has an access opening thru the top. Plus the raincoat has reflective piping sewn into it. I tried other dog raincoats, but this is by far the best I have found. I will be buying another one when my new puppy fits this one.

My long, short dog sports a whole collection of embark gear, and this was a nice addition for rain protection. The belly and chest straps have good, strong velcro, and do a decent job of keeping splashed mud off of most of his belly. The back has an opening for leash connections, that lines up perfectly with the adventure harness clip. The reflector strips are pretty decent, and he seems to stay pretty dry. The only change I would have liked is an option to buy the same coat in yellow or orange, which would improve visibility and let it double up as a jacket for wearing in state game lands during hunting seasons.

I've tried a number of raincoats for my pup. He is a 28-30 lbs senior cockapoo. He has a fatty lipoma in the "girth/chest" area which makes his chest larger. Finding a raincoat that fits his 13-14 inch neck (a little loose but works); 24.5 inch chest; and 16 inch body length was difficult. Most raincoats were proportion where the coat was really large in one or two places and it just would not stay on. This particular one is differently proportioned. The coat is very well made and a good weight, not thin but not thick (not meant to keep warm). It is mesh lined - see photo, and it is reflective. Measurement of garment was true to advertised size.

Although it was too small for the pooch, it was a really nice raincoat. Wished it fit.

I was expecting something better for the price, in the pictures it doesn’t look like it would affect the dogs armpit but oh no it rubs my dogs armpits and he hates it it’s just an odd fitting piece of clothing and obviously it was made by someone who does not on pets, they probably bought a stuffed animal and use that for the model.

I actually bought this for the rain (we get a lot here) but we used it as a windbreaker today. Paired with her doggles, they were perfect for the walk to and from the mailbox in howling wind and heavy snow. The jacket is easy to get on and off. It fits PERFECTLY. My girl is a Sheltie, on the larger end of the size spectrum for her breed weighing in at 52 lbs without an ounce of fat on her (loves to run) modeling a size large jacket.

It’s a very well constructed coat, with a liner like a human athletic jacket. If you just want to keep a light rain off off the main part of your dog’s back, and add some reflective stripes, it’s good for that. Also lots of adjustment room in both the neck and belly Velcro. Not as much side and neck protection as we wanted. Trade off is dog can move very freely.

This is one of a few raincoats I've bought over the years but by far the best.My working lab has a very fine coat and tends to get cold on longer wet walks.This coat suits her perfectly because it's close enough to her - almost like a fitted version- so I don't spend ages hunting for it after it's been snagged on something and pulled off in the woods. It seems to actually be able to tolerate downpours too. The others I've had have all gotten wet underneath the seams.She has a very odd build but the straps were really wide so easy to get a good fit.The velcro seems to be quite good quality as well. thick enough strips and lots of it, not just a small piece, so even with her bombing around at full zoomies speed, it didn't come loose or look like it was restricting her movement in any way.It's really lightweight and doesn't seem to make her hot at all and it also dries off very quickly with the water just running off of it.I use it with a collar and it sits just underneath that but it has a hole for a harness clip as well if you used one of those.Lastly, it looks really nice! It doesn't make her look like she's wearing a sack of potatos like the others did. It' hugs her body really nicely and makes her look very svelte and athletic!

We thought the design of the coat was very fetching. The bright blue looked nice against his black fur.We originally ordered the medium thinking it would be the perfect fit for our border collie but found it wouldn't fasten around his chest area so we had to send it back for a large. The large was a much better fit even though it didn't seem to change that much from the medium. The chest area was now comfortable. They do come up a bit small. I think it would have been better if it came a bit higher on the neck and a little longer on the bum area but every dogs shape is different so I guess thats a bit tricky.I would use this coat on short walks and on walks around the neighbourhood rather than the mucky field and forest walks. This coat will only keep his back dry and his street cred up. For tumbling around in mud I use something different or plan a bath or shower afterwards. This is good if you are strapped for time and want something thats easy to get on and off and saves a lot of drying when you get home.We didnt have a harness that went underneath this so used our collar for our road walks. We also tested our own harness worn over the outside of the coat and this fitted too. We have a harness with a grab handle which needs to be on the outside.Perhaps a matching belt would be a good addition for windy days?I tested this product and gave my honest review of it.

I was very happy with my purchase. Kobe looks great in it and it does keep him dry. The quality is great and I love the colour. Great value for money. I haven’t needed to wash it yet.

Sunny cold windy day. My dog had his jacket on for the first time today. The coat as dyed the coat of my dog after a 30 min slow walk !!!!

Love this coat. It fits my small miniature poodle (11kg). The velcro fastenings are sturdy and hidden away enough not to catch on his hair. Haven't washed it yet, so can't comment yet on that. Very pleased with purchase so far.
