I purchased an expensive solar-charged lighted patio umbrella a few years back, but the little lights were so temperamental. When they actually charged enough to work, the lighting wasn't much good for anything but a bit of ambiance. We enjoy playing a game of cards occasionally, but once it got dark, that wasn't feasible. Plus, there really wasn't enough sunlight on my property to give any solar unit enough charging time. I knew if I wanted lights at night, it would need to be battery powered. Seeing that this one was rechargeable was a huge bonus! And what an amazing light! It has 3 lighting levels which is great, but even at the lowest level there is plenty of light. I like that you can position it any place on the pole and it will stay in place due to the locking mechanism. My only con is that you can't leave it on once the umbrella is collapsed. It is too large, unless you do not want to strap the umbrella in place - which is needed, should there be windy conditions. It is very easy to install, so that isn't a problem and probably better to take it in at night anyway.

We really like the three levels of lighting but really use the lowest the most, has great warmer toned lighting. Long battery life at lowest setting. We flip the light upside down so it bounces off the top of the umbrella for a diffused lighting effect. Very pretty and really helps visibility. Accidentally left it out in a few storms, our area is fairly humid, around 70-75% and it has held up very well. Fits our standard pole perfectly. Very good value.

I've tried other lights, but they are too dim, too bulky or intrusive, or I just can't find batteries! This? Well. It's rechargeable...so one problem solved. Also, super easy to put in place and take off. Second problem solved. And it has 3 levels of brightness. So I can change the brightness as the sun starts to go down. 3rd problem solved. So, perfect! If I had to come up with a problem, it's that you can't put the umbrella all the way down with this thing still on the shaft...but because it's so easy to take off, that's not really a problem! And if I attach a USB solar panel to it, I can charge it for free!

Nice light, works well, but the light is really yellow

I have bought umbrella lights before, but this one is the best. I love the way it’s rechargeable and I do not have to change batteries, but the release button to take it off of the umbrella and put the light on. Looks very similar. I wish they were different colors.

We love to sit outside and play dominoes in the evenings and this light is better than the outside light. Long lasting charge. We have a 10x10 umbrella over our table and it lights up the entire area.

Yes outdoor umbrella light accessory is Great for those warm summer nights where you wanna read a book or play a few board games out on the deck or patio with friends. It works exactly as advertised puts out a lot of light and seems to run for quite a while. I like the idea that it's rechargeable and doesn't eat up batteries. I like this accessory and would recommend it. Thank you

Very easy to operate, charge, and the lighting is not intrusive or harsh. Attached onto our patio umbrella no problem.

Product could be improved by: having a matte finish as you have to be careful not to have it slip out of your hands when dismounting; have a more prominent or lighted power switch as the small flush switch is hard to find in the dark; similarly it’s hard to locate unlatch button; some low power down lights on the bottom would help so you don’t have to flip the unit over for this function.
