DOESN'T MATCH PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The product is described as: "Natural gravel". What arrives is a mix of 'sand and gravel'- which is clearly stated on the bag. I did NOT want sand. (Furthermore despite claiming in the description stating that it is non toxic, the instructions say that you have to rinse it until the water runs clear.)I would return it but as I am shielding this is no easy matter. wish I hadn't bought it.If you want gravel, DON'T BUY THIS.

Great colour and quality, good value for money
I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this gravel for the price. It’s a lovely colour and the fish seem to like it. One bag was plenty for my 120L tank (Juwel Lido 120). Some dust and dirt when it was first rinsed but all gravel is like that so it didn’t bother me too much - just make sure you give it a good rinse before you put it in the tank.

Great stuff but need lof of rinsing.
Its looking great,i had pool filter sand in the tank but i changes it to this one and it looks more natural..its not thick and its just slightly thicker then sand but i guess it would be good for holding plants.only downside is i had to rinse it alot and it took me v long to clean it otherwise great stuff.

Wash it very well
You really need to give this a good long wash, I thought I'd thoroughly washed it but when I put it in you couldn't see an inch into the water because. It does have sand in it so that won't have helped with the cloudyness. A LOT of filter floss and quick clear later and it's totally fine. It was ok for me because there's no fish in there yet. It is pretty gravel and definitely cheap considering how much I needed.

my fish love it
This took a bit of washing - don't dare put it straight in your tank without putting it in a bucket and hosing for a good 15 mins. Even then I had cloudy water for a few days until I stuck a superfine filter pad in. Since thin it has been fine. My fish love it, they like to move it around, they huff into and snuffle through it, they pick it up in their mouths and move it around the tank. It is not too sharp and a nice size for them, I love the natural look of the sand, it looks great in my tank.
