Protect your brush from random house painters!
I bought this brush to use to dampen paper for watercolors, and it works very well! Shortly after I bought the brush, we were doing some spot painting in the house. I wasn't paying attention, and my husband grabbed the paint can and THIS brush. Right before he dipped it into the exterior latex paint, I caught him. "STOP," I said. He looked quizzically at me and said, "Why?" After confiscating the brush from him, I explained what it was for, what I paid for it. He was disappointed that the brush I gave him was not nearly as soft and springy as this brush, but I was able to save us both from a much bigger disagreement.

Howard delivers again
I've relied on Princeton brushes for years when I wanted a quality brush without spending a ton of money. They're not the cheapest brushes out there but they're not overpriced. While I was a bit worried about a single brush shipped alone it was well packaged and arrived in good condition. I washed the bristles, shaped them and got down to painting. No hairs have come loose and none are flyaways or needed to be trimmed. This is far from my first Princeton brush and chances are favorable it will be far from my last. Thanks Howard!

Think it's a knock off
It's a nice brush at a descent price but I don't think it's the real deal. The bristles are very prone to static, the ferrule has no staples and the fit/finish of the ferrule and handle is a bit off. All that being said, it's a nice brush for the price, very soft - good for smoothing brush strokes- great for watercolor and ok for acrylic

LOVE these brushes- precise and easily controlled
I love watercolor but I have very fine motor control issues in my hand and every so often my hand will "flutter" when I'm trying to paint something intricate. These brushes, for some reason, are *so* easy to control. They are a little bit on the firm side, but they hold a good amount of water and are thirsty and make painting even the finest details and small areas (even sharp corners in geometric designs) super easy. Even the largest brushes in the line hold a super fine point.I'm going to go ahead and get a set for my acrylic painting, as well. I think these are my favorite brushes, even when compared my my Escodas, which I consider kind of the end-all-be-all for brushes.
