Used this pump to keep my backyard from flooding during the recent heaviest rains. To get the most out of this pump, use a wide hose that doesn't impede or narrow the flow out of the pump, it creates "flowback".DIYers: There is no filter between the intake and motor prop, so if there's grass or small sticks they can stop up the pump - I cut out a mesh screen and put it in. Finally, the float in the rear can stick because the lever arms get stuck in a square notch - I wrapped a zip tie around to float to stop this and haven't had any problems since.

Looks good. Doesn’t work as advertised. I have ground water that accumulates in 3ft high crawl space under house. Water is over a foot deep. Pump starts out fine then quits after 15 min. I have to keep unplugging and plugging to get another 15 min. It didn’t rain hard to test the unit until return time past.

This pump is good if you have an emergency or need to use temporarily. The sensor doesn't really work and it's meant to handle dirty water so will leave at least 2 inches of water after it's done...

Bought this unit to replace a well-known branded pump that had been working for years. Unit arrived fine, but was disappointed with the quality as it was less than expected. Pump stopped working after only a couple usages (1 1/2 weeks), and even though its well withing its return window, currently unable to return. I have no choice but to take the loss and make mental note to self - spend the extra $ and buy a proven quality pump.

Very strong and fast pumping water, I have been using it and I like it a lot!
