Soil Moisture Sensor, Icstation Humidity Detector, with Corrosion Resistant Probe, Digital Analog Signal Output for Arduino Raspberry Pi Garden Automatic Watering System (2set)

Purchased for my son’s engineering project at university. He was very happy with quality and feedback for his project.

Update 1: Still need to compare with other alternatives, but so far I have only used AO and added live calibration to my code to calculate an accurate average for dry/wet voltages. Also, the logic of your code should collect multiple readings (ignoring the first ~3 seconds of sample data) and then average the result to get a more accurate reading. Still working fine for me after a few months of daily usage (07:00-19:00, every 3m for 40-45sec).INITIAL REVIEW: Only complaint is that for some strange reason not all ADC pins on the pico worked for me. Using GP28 (ADC2) was the only way it would return any reading. In micropython code, after applying the standard conversion factor I got a constant 1.26V (when placed in water) and 3.3V (when dry). Similar results in potting soil.Powering it up for 30s (via pico relay Hat) every 5m to check average soil moisture. Will update review over time if needed.

Didn't get to test them before the return window closed but they are not very accurate at all
