A must read
I initially bought this book for a colleague who works with rougher sleepers and ran the ‘Everyone In’ campaign for a local council. She is so passionate about her work and really cares and I thought that she would appreciate the book. I then picked it up and started to read it myself, and I couldn’t put it down. What a lovely funny and sad book full of amazing people and stories. I really admire the owner and staff of this hotel for making what must have been a very difficult decision and making such a difference to so many lives. And then having their lives changed in return. I really do urge anyone reading this review to buy the book and read it - I am sure that you won’t regret it.

Hope and determination in the face of Covid.
The book tells the story of how a four star hotel in Shrewsbury opened it’s doors to homeless people during the Covid pandemic. Rather than close the hotel’s owner and managers decided to support the government’s ‘Everyone In’ policy and try to help homeless people get back on their feet. The stories of the individuals tug at your heart strings and I had to admire the sheer determination of the hotel’s owners and staff to help. The book gave me a much better insight into the many causes of homelessness, the dangers of life on the streets and how hard it can be to survive let alone get work and a roof over your head again. The stories of the various characters also convinced me that the best way to help is to support charities like Shelter, St Mungos and Crisis to provide more places to help people regain a foothold on a more normal life.

Looks a great book
I read the 'Look Inside' feature and it sounded great and I really wanted to buy it. However it's extremely expensive for a kindle version, way above the average that authors are charging. I'm an author myself and my most expensive books are £2.99 each for kindle. When you bring down the price I'll buy. Sorry!

A very worthy and enjoyable read
This was an eye-opening read about something hugely important. It was sometimes hard to believe it was a true story, which made it all the more enjoyable. Highly recommended.

Christia Lamb did NOT do her research properly
Their are facts in this book which are totally untrue in my view all this as done is cast doubt on the books authenticity . Christia Lamb needs to do better research in future.
