This set consisted of 10 stars and a happy birthday motto on fairly flimsy silver glitter card (glitter only on the front, the back is white) with white sticks and fiddly glue dots for self assembly. Unfortunately we seemed to be 1 stick missing and had a star left over at the end but it didn’t really matter. The confetti balloon was a pretty rubbish. Once blown up the confetti just lay flat on the bottom of the balloon, not stuck around the inside as in the promo pic and wouldn’t secure in the holder which was an ill fitting plastic bow type thing on top of the stick, with 2 halves of the bow that pressed together. Pretty disappointed we couldn’t use the balloon in the final cake and had I known this would have purchased a different set. Personally I didn’t mind having to glue to decorations to the sticks myself but I know this will put some people off and the glue dots are quite fiddly.

Bought this as a last minute idea to decorate a birthday cake. Some of the pictures made it look presentable, but I was concerned about the negative reviews. When we received the pack we started to assemble the pieces, but the quality is poor and decided against using it. I don’t think £4.99 is cheap + additional postage cost considering it’s pieces of cutout card with glitter on, small wood skewers, glue dots & a tiny balloon. Sent contents back for a refund.

Lovley set the cake balloon was amazing so easy to blow up and the stars looked Lovley aswell the happy birthday was a great aswell ,can’t really see because of all the candles I went over board but really pleased with purchase and would recommend to all and super fast delivery

Where do I even begin on this one?! I did expect for one thing that this "birthday banner" would come ready assembled. As you can see from the pictures you get precut stars and signs with glue dots a balloon and a lot of plastic white straws which I presume you have to stick them too.

Ok once made but bit of a faff pooping out bits of cardboard and sticking to big cocktail sticks with little glue lumps, worth it for the balloon but the rest looked like it came from a cereal box
