Above expectations
It usually seems third party products rarely live up to expectations but this one exceeds them. With it I was able to hook it up to my HDMI tv and then with the USB connection hookup a mouse and practically use my IPad as a computer on my large screen tv, very cool, and then not to even mention the memory card plug-ins, very much worth the small cost.

This adapter allowed me to connect my IPad with my computer monitor and also use my wireless keyboard and mouse

Order of connection matters.
I was about to return this item as it seemed like it sometimes would not work at all. But through trial and error I found an order to make it work 100% of the time.First connect the adapter to the phone/tablet via lightning cable. Ensure your screen is on and unlocked.Then connect the hdmi. Wait 5-10 seconds until you see your mobile screen on the display.Then connect your power lightning cable to the adapter and lastly usb devices. This has worked flawlessly for weeks now. Hope this helped someone.

Do not buy
While it does display on through HDMI, the lag makes its unusable. It's impossible to use this as intended. Requesting a refund immediately after I make this review.

Add some length to the cord
It works ok but the cord from device to phone is way too short 4” make it 12”

It works fine
I gave it to my daughter who lives on another country, so never tested it. She called me to say she was impressed with the performance an started working immediately without having to configure anything else.

Works for iPhone 12 Pro Max with iOS 16.4.1(a)
Took some plugging in and unplugging, but once recognized, works well. I need it to mirror my phone or iPad for presentations and it does what it is supposed to do. The extra ports are a bonus, in my situation.
