Dorman 13778 Keyless Entry Remote 3 Button Compatible with Select Models (OE FIX)

i avoided the dealer and locksmith, + 20% off... the key i had for the car, was a locksmith key (orig was lost) when i got the car, bummer, no keyfob. This gadget got the included keyfob synced with the car, and now it works... so in case the key ends up locked in the car, the keyfob (not in car) can pop the doors open for me... mission accomplished...One remaining question, will it program any keyfob (for the car) or just dormans? ...maybe someone can answer that one, on their feedback... lol

Great that this solution is available. I was able to get keyless entry working on a 2000 Grand Cherokee that I bought with no fob.

It works! Just follow instructions exactly as written and be patient. I worked on my 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited.

Worked god for 4 months, then started to only work when it wanted for about a week, then died completely.Changed the battery 3 times, no difference.Programmed easily to our 1999 WJ Grand Cherokee Limited, that's the one star.No way to get ahold of the Manufacturer, too late to return this over-priced junk.The only upside is that if I can find a good OEM unit at the junk yard, I have the programmer...

It works. Happy to say.I was a bit scared by the instructions, saying doing it wrong may disable the vehicle, so I did it at home. I had no problems.
