I have used a couple of beard oils on my 4 month old beard to try and get my stiff bristles a bit softer and less scratchy.This product not only felt different when applying it, but also over the rest of the day my beard felt a lot nicer. And not only that, but the scent was really pleasant. I went for this scent as a bit of a joke, as I seem to have adopted Captain Red Beard at work, but The Buccaneer really lived up to it's name scent wise, and it added a really special touch to my post shower routine.This is a really nice product, really well presented, it smells brilliant and leaves your beard feeling less scratchy than some similar products by other manufacturers.

This beard oil works well. You're best to use it straight out of the shower whilst your pores are open and clean. Just use a few drops and massage through your beard. I would use a 4 - 6 drops depending on the length of your beard and then add more if necessary.It does smell very nice however the smell doesn't seem to last long. It isn't an expensive bottle of aftershave so I shouldn't really be surprised at that. After a few days of use I did find this made my bristles a lot softer, which is the main reason you buy beard oil. The oil hasn't affected my skin in any way and overall I'm really pleased with this product for the price.

Smells and feels great.This was one of the first beard oils which I bought, and continues to be one of my favourites. I have already bought a couple of more bottles of the same stuff.I bought this initially because I wanted my beard to be nice and soft, rather than sharp and scratchy, and it certainly achieves that. However, it has become one of my favourites because of the wonderful blend of aromas which goes into it.I actually use this now in much the same way as the un-bearded use aftershave. The scent is certainly reminiscent of the salty-old-seadogs of lore. The woody and spicy aromas send your mind off to far flung seas.I may have even uttered the occasional 'oo-arr' when putting it on!The oil is thick enough to go on and coat your beard well, but it certainly doesn't feel oily or slimy. It does absorb in throughout the day, but the aroma is long lasting.

Love the wax, so thought I'd try this oil for conditioning my beard. Love the scent, makes my beard feel nice. I will definitely buy again!

Really good stuff. Love the rum smell and it has softened my beard significantly. It really must be good because my girlfriend now prefers me with a beard, normally she hates beards

I’ve ordered this item on the 28th of October and received it on the 30th of October, to open it and have no oil in the bottle, just an empty bottle, really not happy with this, as I was looking forwards to trying this product out, as it was highly recommended to me. Disappointing.
