Grenade High Protein, Low Sugar Bar - Dark Chocolate Mint, 12 x 60 g

The Dark Mint Grenade bar is basically an After Eight that did six months of CrossFit. One bite and you get that cool, punchy mint layered over a not-too-sweet fudge centre, wrapped in dark chocolate that actually snaps—not the usual waxy protein coating. At 20 g protein and barely a blip of sugar, it’s my secret weapon against the 3 p.m. slump: tastes like dessert, fuels like a shake, and keeps me out of the vending-machine danger zone.Texture is key here—no jaw-workout chew, just a soft brownie vibe with a light crunch so you remember it’s not toothpaste-flavoured nougat. I’ve tried most of the Grenade line, and this is the one I hide at the back of the drawer so office scavengers can’t find it. If you need a guilt-free, mint-choc fix that won’t crash your macros, lock and load a box of these.

Great product, very tasty and great value for price

I use this flavour as it’s the lowest in sugar of the grenade bar range (at least it was when I first changed to this flavour I haven’t checked since so worth reviewing again if that’s what you are looking for.The bars like all protein bars are a little chalky but compared to most these are easy to eat and I genuinely do look forward to it with my morning coffee post workout.They are a good size and leave my satisfied for a good few hours.A good easy and tasty hit of protein

Good price for protein bars, good flavour

I think these have to be my favourite Grenade bars to date. Minty (not too strong) and not too sweet. And the calories are not as high on these as some. I don’t use them very often, but find them a useful semi-healthy (sort of, in the loose sense of the word!) snack when I’m out or travelling and know I can’t get to some sensible food for a while.

Usually taste fresher, they have a super close best before date

Having eaten Slimfast bars for months, I am not prepared to pay their ever increasing prices.I bought these to try them out.The bars are very tasty and I can see myself eating the Dark Chocolate Mint on a regular basis in future.Recommended.
