It needs to be rinsed many many times as its super dusty!I can only imagine the nightmare if you just put it straight in your tank 👀🤣Does look nice though,My tank is 100l and I have 6l of aquatic soil under the sand so if you are just using sand in a tank the same size as mine or bigger you need more bags as this wouldn't even cover the bottom more than a few mmFor the price delivered this is an absolute bargain 👌Yes I recommend it 👍

Value for money, amazing product

one bag is perfect for a small 30l tank, just remember to rinse it thoroughly before putting in the tank, o only washed it once and big regret for being too lazy... very dusty particles were flaying in the water for 3 weeks before my filter managed. Overall its a good quality sand safe for shrimps.

I would normally buy more expensive big brand names but tried this - now I’m thinking why did I spend the big bucks on the other stuff when I could have used this one at budget price - I washed it around 10 times high powered shower large bucket yes it’s boring but if you want a safe sand trust me spend the 20 mins and wash until water coming off it is near clear.

Nice quality sand, light beige in colour and maybe slightly paler than advertised. Appears more grey. The particle sizes seem fairly uniform, but I washed the sand to remove any extra small pieces or dust. Took several washes before the water ran clear. Good packaging, easy to use and didn't make a mess. Worked well for my use.

i pay the extra for good substrate, i have kept fish 25yr and this is the best product i have used it does not discolour water like sand and other substrates water remains clear at all time, fish love it and east to clean

Although this is very fine sand it is made of quartz and very hard and sharp grains. Probably ok for other tanks but I needed it for dwarf & pygmy Corydoras and this is definitely not suitable for their sensitive barbs so I cannot use it
