..Channel no.5 is my all-time favourite perfume\scent. This scent does,not need to be thick.. it is perfect as it is. I have searched for this for ages. Amazon was the last place. I expected to find it..thank heavens I looked on Amazon.

"I have chosen the person I want to be, and I am", said Coco. Inspired by her bold and self-assured character, the latest Chanel pillar fragrance represents an ode to women by conveying the personality of Coco Chanel in her youthful years (before she became known as Coco), combining the class of the House of Chanel with the rebeliousness of its founder. Tuberose, ylang-ylang, jasmine and orange blossom are the heart notes of this new scent which opens up a new chapter in the history of the legendary House. Even the design of its 4-faceted bottle is different (looks simple but apparently it took 5 years to design!), its elegant packaging (there is a silhouette-shaped protective insert inside the box along with a mini-booklet), and the face of actress Kristen Stewart is admittedly a surprising, yet, fitting in many ways choice to advertise it. Many expect this brand new release to be another signature scent, and so it is natural for some to be sceptical at first about the mandarin and grapefruit notes that seem to be used in perfumery a lot lately. What makes Gabrielle special is how beautifully the initial burst of fruity sweetness gradually gives way to a luxurious floral feel, giving a sense of warmth and playful sexuality. Quite a departure from previous releases, it is too early to predict whether this has all it takes to become a classic like the gorgeous Coco Mademoiselle. Gabrielle is without doubt feminine, luminous and precious.
