HI; THE ESECURE-2X TWIN PLUG IN WIRLESS/ CORDLES DOORBELL MASSIVE 50M RANGE 16X SOUNDS AND CHIMES;I ALL WAYS START MY REVIEW WITH GRUMBLES; JUST ONE ON THIS UNIT; THAT MAKES A CHANGE; ( DONT BE PUT OFF WITH THIS; ) I WOULD HAVE LIKED A STONGER MORE ROBUSS DOOR BELL BUSHER; AS VISITER CAN TREAT DOOR BELL BUSHER ROTHER HEAVY HAND-ED THE BELL BUSH PLASTIC IS ROTHER THIN AND THE TOP FITTING CLIPS COULD HAVE BEEN STROGER; MODEN DAY ENGANEERING SAVING ON THE PENNYS; PART FROM THIS A GREAT PURCHES; AT A FANTASTIC PRICE; FOR A BRILINT PEACE OF GEAR;NOW FOR THE DOOR BELL BUSH THIS PIECE OF KIT SENDS A VERY STRONG SINGNEL TO THE UNITS THROUGH WALL AND DOORS ECT NO PROBLEM; AND I'V GOT THREE UNITS WORKING OF ONE DOOR BELL BUSH; DOWN STAIRS / UP STAIRS; AND TAKE ANOTHER UNIT I USE IN THE GARDEN THAT I TAKE WITH ME; PERFACT CONECTION BY THE AIR WAVES NOW THE PLUG IN DOOR BELL UNITS THERE VERRY WELL MADE; STRONG ROW-BUST;NEET; COMPACT; MODEN; AND DONT STICK OUT FROM THE PLUG AND THE PLUG IN 13 AMP EXTRA SOCKET ON THE UNIT IS A BONUS AND DOSE NOT INFEAR WITH THE WORKING OF THE UNIT; SO EASY TO IN STALL; JUST PLUG IN AND AWAY YOU GO; TWO SCREWS OR A STICKY TWO SIDES PAD FOR THE DOOR BELL PUSH; THE BEST AND FIRST UNIT SINCE SLICE BREAD; I HAVE EVERE PUCHEST THAT WORKS PERFECT 100% EVERY TIME SATISFACTION; FOR ONCE IT DOSE WHAT SAY ON THE BOX; AND IT WORKS WELL ITS CLEAR; GREAT CHOICE OF CHIMES AND YOU CAN HEAR IT; WHEN PLUG IN YOU CAN FOR GET ABOUT THE UNIT IT WILL WORK EVERY TIME; THE UNIT DOSE NOT UP TO NOW SET IT SELF OFF AND CHIME WHEN OBJECTS IE;- MPS PLAYERS ;ECT OR MOTORS VHICLES PASS ON THE ROAD OUT SIDE ( THERE NOTHING WORSE THAN PUTTING ONE SHOES ON AND GOWING OUT IN THE COLD OR RAIN TO FIND NO ONE THERE AND THE UNIT HAVING FUN AND PLAYING TRIX ) I HAVE HAD OTHER UNITS THAT HAVE PLAYED TRICKS AND LET ME DOWN ( STOPED AND STARTED WORKING; )AND ENDED UP IN THE BIN;THIS UNIT UP TO NOW; HAS NOT LET ME DOWN TOUCH WOOD;100% SATISFACTION WITH THIS UNIT AT A FANTASIC PRICE WELL DONE THE MANAFACTURES IN PROVIDING A UNIT THAT WORK EVERY TIME GOOD ON YOU;VERRY VERRY HIGHLY RECOMEND; BY H; ( REG BLIND; )

I almost missed delivery of this unit because our battery operated bell was not heard when the postman called! Fotunately I noticed his card on the doormat before he had gone far. This system is very easy to install and works with no problem and with a unit both downstairs and upstairs we cannot fail to hear it even when I am practising playing on my tuba! The bellpush assembly does feel a little flimsy and the slot to enable inserting a small screwdriver to separate the front from the back to install a new battery is against the surface on which it is mounted and is out of sight. I am yet to see if this will present a problem when the bellpush battery needs replacing and this is why I have not given 5 stars. The tune that the units play is quite loud which I regard as a good thing. I have not tried altering the tune because it lasts longer than an ordinary 'Bing-Bong' and so is less likely to be missed. The tone is not HI-FI and the units are not quite in sync but as we rarely get more than 3 callers a day this does not bother us. The important thing is that we hear it. A big plus is that, as the bell units have a socket on the front, a power point is not lost. In our case this means that our phone unit is plugged into the bell. Update: 4th.Jan 2017. Being mains powered the bell units never run out of power and so far the bell push has been absolutely trouble free so heartily recommend this item.

E-Secure doorbell - twin x 2 came last week in excellent condition,delivery time was excellent too.This product looks nice and is good quality,you can plug this item in but still fully utilize your plug sockets so this is handy,it also has space to put your door / house number in a section at the bottom of the bell push.I placed one unit upstairs on my landing and one downstairs in my front room,I am hearing impaired and could still hear this bell as it is quite loud.It has lots of chimes some annoying some not so annoying,it also has some "Christmas" chimes,mine it just set on the standard "Ding Dong",overall for appearance,quality and price I would recommend this product to other would be purchasers.

The first set still works after more than a year. So I now have four bell units and two bell pushes that I can set up as required.There is a little switch block inside that means all four bells will go off when one of the bell pushes is pushed or you can set it so that each bell push works with different bell units. This is very useful but seems to be undocumented in the instructions. They have a good range in my house which has thick walls and is a bit spread out. The battery in the bell pushes lasts well and I am still using the original after more than a year.It is possible to modify the bell push so that an other bell push will operate it by closing a contact. Useful if you have a nice declarative bell push you wish to retain. Note however that this requires use of a solder bolt, a small drill, some understanding of the way the bell push works and two small wires. Much easier if there had been two contacts on the outside rear for this function (manufacturer please note). In the event of a power cut the bells will revert to the default sound. A minor nuisance unless you lose power a lot.All in all a very good and flexible product.

Like another reviewer I bought this to connect through to a garden office at the back of the house. Unfortunately not. Maybe with a clear line of sight it will do 50m but the most I got was less than 20m. Apart from that (!) it is loud and the 13amp plug socket also works allowing other devices to be plugged into the socket. Quite useful this because if you disconnect the power the chime resets to the default which is the fist chime I think. Ok not a big task to reset to the chime you want - but some of those chimes.....! I did like the two christmasy options though and I will use those, if only to annoy my wife :-) . If you can live with the limited distance it seems like good value for money, but if it is to extend to a garden office go with something more powerful.
