Kuject Design 20FT Link Cable for Quest 2/Pro, with Separate Charging Port for Uninterrupted Power, USB 3.0 Type A to C Cable for VR Headset Accessories and Gaming PC

I used this on my Quest 3 and it "works" but it doesn't... With volume and brightness all the way up, it lasted about an 8 hour session from full charge, but it did not stay charged. It fell all the way to 10% before I finally stopped using VR.What was I doing using VR for 8 hours? I made my own homebrew knock off of Virtual Desktop that replicates my bedroom but without the walls, and I can basically have my bedroom be in the middle of whatever I want. Mostly it's underwater. Anyway, point is I use it for productivity in a relaxing environment, as I do a lot of programming. It wasn't really feasible on my CV1, replaced it with a Quest 2 which made it sorta work well, but it wasn't until Quest 3 that I had the resolution to really use a virtual screen for programming.But yeah, 8 hours tops is what I get out of the Quest 3 with thing. I have Kuject's other link cable as well and this one gets marginally better charge time than the other "dumb" cable that's much stiffer and doesn't have the power passthrough.

It does what is advertised partly, after many weeks of testing one unit and buying another. It's very durable which it needs to be if you're not using a pulley system. I'm also very rough on the cable, unplugging it and replugging it, and running it over in wheelie chairs. After these, impacts I do notice stars, and going back to Steam VR and then color flashes with my recent impacts being around 2 months to 11/07. Far from invincible but good for short usages, I'll give its Durability 7 out of 10. As for quality control, I haven't had much luck with the plug on both my units being pushed into microchip housing making the charge port lopsided when I plug it in doesn't affect the charging but looks bad. Also, the velcro strap is crap and easy to break off within 2 months and loses its stickiness within months. Battey's life is constantly draining on Quest 1 and 2 but will last for 4 hours so better than having a battery strap for sure but keeping it fully charged or half is impossible for me. I'm sure you had a 5V USB port and used a stock Quest charger because it has a software lock for Quest it can work in theory. If you don't have a high-voltage USB port don't get it.

This cable was great while it lasted. I never had to charge my Quest 2, and the image quality is better than USB 2.0 cables by a noticeable margin. My only issue is… The USB end broke within a week of using the cable. I’m not gonna lie, I play rough in VR. I have FBT, so I do a bit of dancing and whatnot. I also tend to get myself wrapped up in my cable. The USB end got yanked from the PC during a session and ended up becoming completely nonfunctional. My best guess for the failure is a lack of care on my end. Either way, it’s a good solution for those who want a charger-less solution for Oculus, and who need a good and lengthy cable.TL;DR: Great cable for those who don’t want to charge before and after every use, but be sure to be careful while playing high-intensity games.

I bought this around 2 months ago and at first it was working just as advertised. Being able to play without worrying about battery was awesome. However, yesterday I started experiencing frame drops and overall glitching and I tested everything until I realized it was the cable. Also, this cable is USB 2.0 for some reason instead of 3.0 and way slower. I would recommend buying this if it lasted longer and had USB 3.0 but mine stopped working properly out of a sudden.

This will let you play PC VR games in perpetuity. Unfortunately it's a thicker tougher material than the oculus brand PC VR cable and is kind of awkward to manipulate. It's worth it if you plan to do marathon PC vr gaming sessions but the the regular oculus cable lasts about 4-5 hours if you turn off eye and hand tracking, which is plenty for most

I cant say I followed the instructions to a t, because I did go slightly out of order but I got it to work for a second or two. thinking it was no big deal I unplugged it from my pc leaving it in my wall and quest I guess assuming it was just going to charge while it was unplugged from the pc since the external charger is where it is supposed to be getting its power from anyway. I plug it back into the pc after getting my wires nice and neat and too my surprise my quest is no longer charging, and my quest app doesn't recognize that my quest is even plugged in anymore.for the longest time I used a laptop with a USB 3.2 Gen 2 + Power Delivery so I was fortunate enough to never need something like this. When I got my new pc, while it did have a 3.2, that 3.2 didn't have power delivery. while seems like an unnecessary detail it kind of make you wonder that, if a singular USB port can not only transfer 5gb/s, but can also supply enough power to keep my quest charged, why cant this cable without dying?I honestly have no clue why this gave out on me so quick but if this jerry rigged cord, whos only purpose was to add the power that my port couldn't supply, stops working because I unplugged it the wrong way, how the hell was this going to react if my io plate pushed it out of the port, or if there was a power short in my pc?I'm going to ask for a new one in hope that this was just a fluke, but if this review never changes, its safe to assume my opinion stays the same.

Okay so the cable is not as light as advertised but it is very good the only downside that it has is that the charging while playing games doesn't work at all. So its like if it was a normal link cable but besides that everything else works. But I would recommend getting a different link cable instead of this one

This is Used in conjunction with Oculus Link which is via Oculus Desktop App > into a USB 3.0 (Blue port) in the tower. Be aware, when you see "Rift" as a link prompt, that is nornal. You can play enough VR in one sitting to scramble your brains before the headset is even at 60% Battery life.

It does not charge Fast enough :(.
