6 x R50 Sportlights 40W SES E14 Reflector Spot Light Bulbs, Small Edison Screw Cap, NR50 Incandescent Lamps

I would have much preferred to throw the money in the River Mersey! The bulb lasts for only one day. I had an electrician come to test the wiring of the fire surround, no problem there the bulbs are no goodSave your money don't buy these!!I wish I had read the reviews before I'd wasted my money buying these. Lesson learned. I for one will now read reviews in the future! Amazon should remove these from the market.

I bought this to replace my Osram 240V 40W spotlight. There are 3 bulbs in my lighting fixture but one went down. I put on this product, it didn't light up. I thought it was the E14 base broken. So I rotate one of the old bulbs but it lit up without any problem. So I took a 2nd new bulb and put it in, this one also no problem. Then I took the 3rd one and installed, didn't work, continue till I tried the 7th bulb, only the 2nd one worked and none of the other ones worked. How scary the product defective rate! I didn't finish to try all 12 bulbs because there is no point. Return it for sure.

these spotlights are a waste of time.!!I used two of these type over my bed and they only get turned on bedtime; I'm not a reader in bed so they are only on for ,say 10 to 20 minutes. well i have now used three off these spotlights in less than two weeks!! the first lasted about 3 switching on, the second improved with 7 and now I'm on my third....it has lasted 2 switching on/off so far.my original Phillip's spotlight lasted SEVEN years!!!!i will have to buy one and not try to save a few pence...buy cheap, buy dear in the end,

The first 3 bulbs blew straightaway last one had smoke coming out of it. Didnt bother trying the other 3 as felt it was to dangerous. They make it nearly impossible to return them as I cant print off the label. So the other 3 will be going in the bin. Not happy atall !!!

Everready bulbs supplied Dec 2016, although another brand advertised. Not very happy about this, as I was trying to avoid Everready bulbs, which I bought before. I bought 6 in Dec 2015, and only have 1 left from that batch. Two spotlights had their bulbs changed twice in that time, one only lasted a month. The service from the company is efficient, but the bulbs are poor quality. They are also rather dim compared to the one old bulb of a different brand left in the row of four lights. If I could still find them easily without buying online, this experience would make me buy my spotlight bulbs from a shop.

I bought these R50 lights for the first time from this company. I replaced two spotlights in my kitchen with two bulbs and they both lasted 3 weeks! That's appalling when they should last a year at least as the other bulbs do. It will be interesting to see if the company will refund me as clearly there's a problem with two of these bulbs lasting such a short time.

I would like to complain about the quality of the 2 X 6 x R50 Sportlights 40W SES E14 Reflector Spot Light Bulbs, which I received on Friday 8 January. Soon after putting in the new bulbs they only lasted a short while before not coming on. I have since bought more expensive bulbs from a local hardware store & they are still working. This morning I used the last of the 12 bulbs & by the end of the day these last 2 have also failed. The previous deliveries that I have had of these bulbs have also failed very soon after installing. Because the light bulbs bought from the local hardware store are still working, unlike the cheaper R50 Sportlights from Amazon, then I know the light fitting is not at fault but the cheaper light bulbs.

I’m pretty upset with these because they are in fact energy saving bulbs and as such, provide a really poor, dim greenish light, not like spot lights used to be at all. It’s not even an equivalent to 40W, it’s only 37W. This is not as advertised!!
