We love it!
This is a fantastic family board game to play! My kids are 8,10 & 14. All of them loved it. Lots of interaction from everyone, really easy to learn/play. Great fun for adults too. Good for family nights. I cannot recommend this game enough, easy to understand, fun for all ages. Perfect for categories fans!

Title: Fun for everyone!
We just received the game yesterday, but already played it twice and can’t wait to play it again. Great addition to our selection of games and is in time for the holidays.

Super addictive, I can't stop!
Very cool game! It took us 2 min to learn how to play, then it was just all fun. Super addictive, especially if you like words!

Fun family game!
I ordered this in advance of Christmas as I had extended family visiting, and I was looking for games that would be appealing to both adults and kids. Take Gem All was a hit! Our whole family really enjoyed playing this. The game has a simple premise and comes with very detailed and easily understood directions. You sort 20 cards from the extensive deck and place them in the middle of your playing surface. Four colored "gems" are drawn at random and also placed in the center. Each gem has a letter on it. If playing with multiple people, one is designated as "adventure leader" (i.e. card flipper) and another as "assistant leader" (gem replacer). The leader flips a card over for the group to see, and on the face of it is a category prompt (ex: vegetable). The first person to correctly yell out a word that fits the category AND starts with one of the letters on the gems wins the gem. The missing gem is replaced with a new one, a new card is flipped, and so on. Play continues until the 20 cards have been finished, and then each player tallies their gem total. The gems have different point totals, so the person that correctly guessed the greatest number of cards isn't necessarily the winner. Also, there are fun challenge cards that pop up along the way that can affect accumulating points. My family opted to play more than 20 cards in a round, and we came nowhere close to exhausting the deck. One feature that I really like is the mix of category prompts. There is such a wide variety -- things that children should be able to easily guess (Disney character/movie, Harry Potter character), things more apt for adults (Diseases, Spices), and things for all ages (Article of Clothing, Fruit). We never came across anything that was too obscure or esoteric, which was nice. This is a great game to add to one's collection, especially if you enjoy word/category-based games.

Fun for the family
We’re always looking for games for the family. This one is definitely different than most. It comes in a small sturdy box that holds it all and some good instructions. I will say it is a little hard at first to reach the younger pones how to play the game but all in all it’s a fun addition to game night.

Great if you have a group that loves word games
This was a fun game for those who can think of words quickly (my mom). Maybe not quite so much for those who can't (me). The tall deck of cards has a lot of themes, and the rules seemed to be fairly balanced. One odd thing was the instructions seemed to indicate that play continued until the entire deck of cards had been used, but there were not enough gems for this. Perhaps we misunderstood something in the rules. In any case, this is a great game for those who love words!

Decent game for same age group of players
Younger kids trying to play with adults doesn't work out well unless the adults go easy. A few of my younger cousins weren't impressed with the game but played 2 rounds with my friends and it got quite competitive. Fun game to make your brain work and potentially teach younger kids more words. Super easy to learn and understand.
