Perfectly good solid watering can with rose, good capacity and balance, easy to use, liked red colour so I could use it for weed killers and remember which watering can I’d used before!

I am particularly pleased with this watering can. So pleased I purchased two! One green for watering and one red for weedkiller etc. Its large and holds 10L so there is a fair bit of water in there - ideal when you are watering large parts of the garden or several tubs at the same time. Even better for cleaning the car!Contrary to the other reviews, I think the watering can is well made, and I can see no problems in using the watering can on a day to day basis.I guess you might ask the question is it worth ordering a watering can through Amazon - why not go local and get one cheaper? My reply would be that at just over £7 inc delivery this is a great buy, you are getting exactly what you order, and you cannot always pop down to the local shop and pick up exactly what you want. Therefore I can highly recommend this watering can on quality and price.

BEWARE! The rose head is a huge non-standard size. The apertures are large, so this is not suitable for use with very delicate plants. Also will not fit a bar for spreading weedkiller/fertilser.Where this can excels, is in rapidly delivering water to shrubs, fruit bushes, potatoes, bird baths etc.Despite its very large capacity it will fit under a kitchen sink mixer tap and isn't too awkward to carry. The narrow shape makes it easier to store than some smaller cans.The plastic is surprisingly thin, but seems strong enough for its load.My suspicion is that this can will age quicker than most but if it last only two years it will have proven better value than my 7.5 litre Haws can, which it is replacing.Overall a great can for the big jobs, but I will still be needing my 5 litre long reach Haws can for the more sensitive watering tasks.

I bought three of these watering cans in Red.They are just perfect for watering the garden or filling bottles or machines up with water.I got two for my own home and one for my workplace.There are two other watering cans in my workplace but there is stiff competition for using watering cans So I bought one for the cleaning staff only and if it goes poolside I know they r not getting it

Since both my old galvanised cans died over the last winter, I found I needed new ones in a hurry. This one does the job nicely - it's sturdy, capacious, and easy to use, despite the size. It fits underneath my water butt, has volumetric markings on the side for liquid feed, and did a sterling job of watering in the wild garlic I just planted. I also like the little 'nub' to put the rose when you're not using it - far too many of my old cans have ended up rose-less because I forgot where I put it down, or it got played with by a cat. In short, a well designed can, and excellent value for money.

This is a very good watering can, especially for the price. The Rose fits snugly and I don’t expect any trouble.The markings on the outside are very helpful if you are trying to gauge ratios of water to treatment.I bought the red colour version as I use it for spraying weed killer (Algon - a great product) onto the driveway. The red colour stops me using it as a standard watering can and killing the plants with left over Algon!

There isn't much that can be said about this - it is mostly bright red, the rose is black, and all plastic, lightweight when empty and it is rather cheaply and thinly made. It is functional to a degree but nothing like as well as a vintage tin-plate one which was fitted with a solid brass rose we used to have.It has a 10-litre capacity with markings on the outside to the right of the spout for each litre - useful when diluting liquid fertilisers and such. The rose attachmernt is a fairly loose fit, not likely to fall off when used but easily able to rotate with the holes up or down as desired. You may be able to remove the supplied rose and fit others, although subject to them having a common diameter - this is slightly conical but the maximum appears to be 27.5mm.As yet, the stubby projection above the spout has defied identification of function.

The can seems fine - certainly much better then similar items sold in supermarkets/garden centers as this price level.However, as other reviewers have indicated, mine was sent without a rose which makes it useless for my need of spreading liquid lawn feed. I contacted Amazon who explained that they only act as distributors and have no control over the factory sent units. A partial refund was given, sufficient to purchase a replacement rose, so no harm done other then the lost of a couple of days.

Eine rote Gießkanne sollte es sein. In den umliegenden Baumärkten gab es nur hässliche in gedeckten Farben oder pink. Also hier bestellt und sehr zufrieden. Sie ist leicht, robust und lässt sich angenehm tragen. Kaufempfehlung!
