Waterproof no sweating
These are great, totally waterproof and unlike cheaper plastic things I've had in the past that if you leave on your legs may as well have been out in the rain these do not make you sweat so. I can leave them on comfortably for ages

The trousers are what they say - waterproof!
Excellent fit Long zip means they are easily put on and off over boots. Light weight - excellent for all year British hill weather ( and golf)

Best waterproof overtrousers I've ever owned
6-8 hours of walking and running in the fields in pouring rain and windy weather - they kept my legs dry. Easy to clean, very comfy, especially if you are petite because in this case, finding overtrousers not falling down is a disaster

Really light weight and foldable!
Brilliant pair of pants - v light weight compared to most other waterproof pants and can be stuffed into a really small pouch. Has good length zips so no issues putting them on and off over shoes.

Lightweight packable waterproof trousers
The Berghaus Paclite Pants are an excellent piece of kit. They take mimimal space and weight in your rucksac, are easy to get on and off thanks to full length zips, are very breathable and waterproof. On the downside; they are little more expensive than some rivals and they have no access to pockets (I expect that this is to keep the weight down). Overall if you want a light weight trouser this is the one to go for.

Happy with product
I had this waterproof trousers before and it's ultra light and packable. It also comes in 3 leg lengths which is good, particularly for people with shorter legs. The price is good too.

Good overtrousers if for some reason you hate getting wet legs out walking...
I'm from the lake district so I'm confident of my expert status as someone who understands rain and avoiding getting wet when out walking. I've had the male equivalent of these overtrousers for ages with no problems and more than reasonable levels of waterproofing. It was therefore nice to see my wife out in these and for once not ending up looking like a drowned rat at the end of a walk where, surprisingly for Cumbria, it rained - but only for all of it.They are certainly light and add very little to the overall rucsac weight, they're also well made and easy to get on over other clothing (because you wear other clothing when hiking right?) using a velcro fastening which seems robust and likely to grip for a long time. Go for a slightly bigger fit than you actually are ladies as it will give you more room to get them on. Enjoy your walk without that fairly offputting feeling of water slowly seeping down to your boots...
