This is a very good product for starting out. I bought 2 at the same time. One of the has a small issue with the peddle not stopping, but will get the hubby to fix it.

The first 2 times I used this wheel, it was okay; not bad for the price. Now it does a weird wobble while spinning and it's impossible to make anything. The pedal is very touchy, often starts spinning on its own. It sits very low to the ground. I was able to find a small folding step stool at Home Depot that was the right height to use with it.

I have been learning pottery and wanted more time on the wheel to practice. This has been great for that. It’s not light weight - it’s a good weight!Negatives - it’s an 11” wheel head (smaller than standard) and there are no bats so you have to be patient and wait a bit before you cut your work off. Also, the foot pedal is very light and moves around easily. I used a small board and glued thin molding in a “U” shape to keep it in place. It works!
