I like that I don’t have to keep up with tops for this seam ripper. Easy to travel with. It’s razor is not as sharp as I would like it to be but it’s still nice. It has two different sizes one small and one large. Would make a great gift for stocking stuffers or gift basket for someone who does a lot of sewing.

I like a variety of seam rippers with different lengths and barrel widths to work with differing weights of material. This tool fits that demand. It is a larger barrel.I also use this tool as a stilleto to push fabric evenly under the machine needle.

Change to one star after the locking mechanism broke less than a month after I bought it. Now it is completely pointless. I have one day to return this item but due to a snowstorm I'm unable to get to UPS( almost 40 minutes away). Now I'm stuck with a piece of junk and wasted money.I desperately wanted to love this item as it had everything I needed all in one tool! But it is pointless to buy a 2-headed stitch remover when only one side is sharp (marginally). Locking mechanism is wobbly and if you even tap it with your thumb while you're removing a tight seam, its going to retract on you. Maybe if it were sharp, it wouldn't take so much effort though. That might help the retraction issue since you wouldn't be pushing so hard to get a stitch cut.

I am a quilter and use a seam ripper regularly. I was thrilled that there was a seam ripper for which you did not need to keep up with its cover. It was great for about a year, then the locking mechanism broke. Now I'm going to order the one made by Clover. It has received 5 stars

You can never have enough. Like the way is closes and protects point.

I love it better than my other one

I really love this seam ripper because of it being retractable . ( I always lose the cap.) But, the retractable part seams to break easily. This will be the third one I order. I think I will try the Clover brand and see what happens.
