We've only had this machine for less than two months, but it has already started having problems. It needs to be restarted daily in order to clock in, which is very frustrating. We're quite disappointed with the quality.

The media could not be loaded. I love this little machine; sure, it’s missing a few features like Wi-Fi and remote access, but it serves its purpose very well. The fingerprint scanner is fast and accurate, the RFID reader is fast as well, and entering a pin is as easy as keying it in. Programming is a minor challenge without a keyboard but can be done by anyone. I cant wait to start using it.

This scanner was hard to set up. There is a number of long steps you have to take, and since it’s not touch screen or anything the process can be time consuming and dreadful! But it does read fingerprints and have a card tap reader that works like tap pay at your local register. They aren’t cards exactly, but more like blue circles on keychains with numbers on them. There are 5 of them for supervisors or upper management team members who don’t want the hassle of pressing the index finger in the slot, and waiting to be read. It just scans like tap pay. That’s probably the best thing about it after set up. It’s old school, but if you are on a budget but want something you can manage your employees time with, it’s great! Also it comes with a usb stick so that you can get time reports and upload them to your device or desktop. You can also read them by a series of actions on the machine, but I don’t recommend the long road!

Nice compact design and easy to use. I set up without included instruction which I found slightly confusing and small requiring a magnifier to read. Once programmed even tho there is no battery it has a non viotel memory so if unplugged nothing is lost. the screen and sensor are well lit and worked a described , Tip is when enrolling fingerprint pay attention a follow voice prompts so you cut down on bad reads. The key tag option is a nice feature making use quicker. at the end of pay period just download on sd card and everything needed is right theresome of the type on lcd is small while navigating the menu but once all setup is complete only when editing will you have to deal with that. Overall I think its a valuable asset that will save time and money.

I tried and tried, but this is pretty complicated to get started. The instructions aren’t really as in-depth as I feel they should be. Also, I was disappointed to find out that it doesn’t interact with any other software, other than the built-in software. I was hoping that this would be able to interface with QuickBooks, but unfortunately that appears to not be possible if you’re looking for something to interface with your current POS system or payroll software this is not the device for you however, the fingerprint scanner works exceptionally well. I will say that.
