High quality fabric. Very lightweight, easy to pack for my summer vacation. I am 5 foot four with a 30 inch inseam. These pants and they came right to the top of my shoes so the 27 inch inseam description may not be quite accurate. These look great and fit me perfect. Love the pockets

perfect for what I needed

I like these pants for walking my dog and gardening. I like the zippered pockets and drawstrings around the waist and ankles. I got these pants in extra large. I usually wear a large, but with Amazon sizes, I usually size up. These are slightly large on me, but I find that the drawstring waist works well and they stay put with all of the bending, crawling and standing I do when gardening. So, the XL was a better choice for ease of movement. The material is great when I get them dirty/muddy/wet. I can rinse them with the hose and not track my garden mud in the house. They wash up great in the washer. Probably great for travel too. I think they would make great hiking pants. I only rated them 4 stars , since they were labeled sweat pants, which is misleading since the material is unlike any sweat pant material I have encountered. I, however, like them and would purchase again in a different color.

Unless you have big thighs order down a size. I first ordered large and they weee huge, so ordered mediums and they fit beautifully.

As a family we've been getting more and more into hiking and the outdoors and needed to add some lightweight, comfortable, hiking pants to our wardrobe.These pants are great, they fit well and the fabric is lightweight and seems to be water resistant at the very least. My wife likes the feel of the fabric and has worn them on some walks and short hikes and says they do very well.They're stylish as far as hiking pants go and the size feels true. Overall, if you're looking for a pair of comfortable hiking pants, these are great.

These are comfortable to wear and lightweight which is nice for hiking. The amount of pockets helps with that as well.The only reason it has 4 stars instead of 5 is the sizing. I got a L and wear between a M-L so they are a little too roomy in the front and rear around the hips. I wanted a larger size as I am taller (5' 9") and didn't want the pants to be too short. Style wise, they look better when cuffed at the ankles. If you want a slimmer fit and don't mind the length, I recommend ordering on the smaller side.
