Factory Style Spoiler for The Camaro 2016-2022 Painted in The Factory Paint Code of Your Choice 568 130X

This is a great looking spoiler. The best part is that this spoiler is $350 cheaper than the local Chevrolet Dealership wants for the same exact spoiler (that is before the cost of installation). The WA130X red matches the "Pull Me Over Red" (code G7C) of my new 2018 Camaro perfectly. The 130X and G7C are essentially the same paint color. The spoiler was easy to install, and the installation took about two hours total. The bolt holes in the spoiler align perfectly with the 4 spoiler mount knock-outs in the bottom of the inner trunk lid, if you measure 11 inches from the end- tips of the spoiler to the corner of the rear windshield on both sides. The only items that must be removed before installation are the "cloth" panel, and the 4 rubber grommets in the trunk lid. Removing the cloth panel will give you access to the space behind the trunk latch in order to install the middle two mounting bolts. Just a note, the space is tight if you have large hands, which makes installing the upper/middle bolt a challenge. Although there are Phillips screw driver heads in the mounting bolts, you will need a 10 mm socket, or a combination wrench, for these two middle bolts. I might also mention that It helps to have a door panel removal tool in order to remove the plastic retainers in the cloth panel without damaging them. The included plastic locator tabs work great for positioning the spoiler exactly where you want it on the trunk lid. I used a 1/8" speed bit for the initial holes, and then I used a step-bit to enlarge the holes to 5/16". The step bit makes a nice clean cut, while deburring the hole at the same time. This leaves nice smooth/clean holes in the truck lid. Just be careful you do not drill too deep, as you will drill into the black plastic covers that cover the tail lights. Once the spoiler was mounted and all waxed up with the car, it looks beautiful. You cannot tell the difference between this spoiler and a factory installation. Just take your time, and be patient while lining up the exact location of the spoiler. I highly recommend this spoiler, as it looks very nice, and it is very easy to install. You will not be disappointed.
