I do not know much about tattoo needles because I am just a beginner but these needles seem to work fine. They run smoothly across my fake skin and they seem to be picking up enough ink so they seem to work good. The package I received came in perfect condition without any stains or weird smells.

these are good cartridges, snap into all my machines easily and snugly. they have good ink retention and distrobution so that you dont have to pick up ink all the time. good smooth movement to them as well.

I selected the 09RL (round liner, 9 points) cartridge. This cartridge produces a deep and even line, with minimal skin damage when used either horizontally or vertically. The line it produces is even and smooth (if the right pressure is applied), and the cartridge doesn't move or vibrate around when in use, allowing for cleaner lines and more accurate coverage. The cartridge fits well and holds securely into multiple brands of hand-held home machines, including the Hawkink starter kit and smaller pen-size machines, such as the Mast pens.The cartridge fits standard adjustable handheld tattoo guns, which is very nice. I like that most cartridges now are interchangeable, and it's great that it works with all of my adjustable-depth machines, as that is a feature that I need as I'm very early on and still struggling with appropriate depth. The cartridges pull and hold ink very well, resulting in fewer starts and stops to reload. They also last a substantial amount of time without dulling. This cartridge allows for consistent and even ink flow and minimizes field obstruction from leakage. Transparent reservoir lets you monitor ink level easily. Overall, a great value for the cost and a nice set to learn the nuances of shading. This brand in general has turned out to be a great find and will definitely be one of my go-to's as I move forward in the learning process.

I have tried 6 or 7 different brands of needles. I rank these lower than others I have tried.The cartridge would not pull much ink in into it no matter how far I dipped the tip into the ink cap. I would have to wipe off any excess prior to using it on the fake skin. Even then, the cartridge left a more ink on the surface than in the skin.I will use these for practice on fake skin when I am just practicing my lining techniques.

So far, they have worked very well for me to make shading, and built lines. They respond very well to the skin, the ink loads easily, and there are no spills. I will have to use them more times to update my review, but for now, for their price and performance, I recommend them.
