This French-Press coffee maker is perfect for travel and at home. All you need is some hot water and medium to coarse ground coffee.I used it for the first time and it was super easy. Just add the coffee (and some sweetener) and add boiling water up to the fill line. Then gently press the plunger down and at the end screw the lid on top.Tip: if you like to add milk, add it before you reach the max water mark and before you press the coffee.The plunger can be completely taken apart by loosening some screws and it is super easy to clean by rinsing it under running water. So this mug can be quickly cleaned before making another coffee. Very easy.Not a deal breaker but some issues to be aware of: While I like the rubber foot to keep it stable, it also makes it topple over more easily, especially if you are used to slide things around on your desk. This rubber foot is really sticky and keeps the mug in place well.Also, while the lid closes nice and tight, when you fling it open it does have some momentum that might topple the mug over especially in combination with the sturdy rubber foot. So some slight balance issues there. But once you got used to it and handle it carefully, it is a great travel mug and can make fresh coffee anywhere without a coffee machine.

As long as you have a source of hot water, you have a French Press for your preferred blend. Almost everywhere will give you hot water.Thing is; I’m particular about my coffee and fast food places are far from picky. So this way I can quickly brew my own as I prefer.Easy to travel with and easy to clean. And French Press is what I prefer.

Opening the spout is little inconvenient, but will help me keep it from unwanted spilling.The filter is very fine and the press fits the tumbler just alright.I'm happy to keep my tea free of leaves.

Yes! This is great for traveling, because rarely does in-room hotel coffee make me happy. It stays warm twice as long as my previous French press mug. The only downside is that it’s only 12 ounces.
