Limited suitability.
It's a lovely looking gate and is perfect for what I want it for, which is why I ordered it. Light, easy to move and keeps the very small dachshund I look after from going upstairs.However, I am only giving it 3 stars because, in my opinion, it is only suitable for small, unadventurous dogs, who just need a barrier to dissuade them from venturing further. I don't know this for a fact, but my guess would be that if a dog wanted to get past it.... they would have much of a problem.

Handy versatile stair gate
Bought this as we got a puppy and I wanted to keep her away from the stairs to prevent chewing.The three way style of the gates has meant we can choose different layouts for different parts of the house to block the puppy ! We did have to change over the brackets to the other side of one panel to suit our needs. This was easy to do.
