54 out of 60 germinated!
All seeds except for 6 sprouted. They're growing really fast but no flowers yet. I'm planning to move them outside and I want to see how they handle the heat once they've grown some more. I'll update my review once they begin to bloom. I would buy these again.

Lotus flower seeds not worth the money nor the effort.
Do not waste your money. I followed all the directions and while all the seeds have sprouted. No matter where I put them or in what I put them...all I get after two months are nothing but leaves/ Lilly pads but not one single flower.

Easy time grow
Started sprouting in 2 days I put them in a 50 gallon containerHad a couple bad ones but that's expected .. these seeds are worth it even if you only get one to sprout considering a plant is around 25 and up

My experience so far.
I purchased lotus seeds for an upcoming event, not realizing they can take up to a year to flower—which, in hindsight, is on me for not doing enough research beforehand. Of the six seeds I started, only four sprouted, even after following guidance from an aquatic gardening blog, including scarifying the hulls. What initially sold me were the beautiful photos—many of the flowers matched my event’s color scheme perfectly. Based on the product description, I expected the process to be relatively simple. However, there’s definitely more involved than what was listed.I’d recommend these lotus seeds to anyone willing to invest the time and effort, but go in with realistic expectations: patience is key, and not all seeds are guaranteed to germinate. When the lotus seeds bloom I will add photos.

Not as easy as it is said to be - but WORTH IT!
I have used sand paper (as directed) two different grades of construction rasps; and a metal nails file. After 4 hours work and a LOT of hand cramps I now have 4 of the 20 ready to "plant" hahaha. I am seeking alternate instructions.I kept plugging away on them and Feb 8 I had enough to start. I used a round bowl and added colorful stones then filled with water about 3/4 full. Just plopped the seeds in hoping for the best, not expecting a lot. Feb 14 ... nothing. But water was cloudy so I strained off the water and rinsed off the stones and refilled.Sooooo here we are Feb 20th. I sent to change water and rinse them again. There was NOTHING last week this week this! VERY happy! (Now of if I can keep them alive.) <note: I ordered food for them but it didn't arrive and Amazon cancelled the order without reason. I'll try for more.>

They are growing very well!
Seeds arrived on time. No instructions, so I watched YouTube videos on instructions. I didn't read reviews before I bought seeds, so when seeds arrived I finally read reviews while looking for instructions. So...after reading reviews I thought " Well, it won't hurt anything to through them in some water". So, I just threw them in my regular faucet water and basically forgot about them for almost a week, and to my surprise, they sprouted!! I have a bowl full of sprouted lotus seeds. I now change the water every day and tomorrow I plan on planting them in aquarium substrate for water plants. Who knows I may even add a fish or two! I'm really excited now about these lotus plants they get bigger every day! Don't hesitate to buy, I'm glad I did! I gave half the seeds to my daughter and hers are doing well too.

Happy
There was a lot of mixed reviews on here, so I was real iffy on purchasing, but I ended up ordering them anyways. Love that they already came pre-cut so less work for me. I got a total of 60 seeds and this is day 7. Only 10 have not sprouted! You have to know what you're doing or you could have a bad experience. Knowing this, I would recommend them adding a few instructions or even a QR code to a video demonstration. I'll give the seeds that haven't sprouted a week before calling it but even so that's only a 15-ish percent failed germination rate.
