TOSHIBA Combo 8-in-1 Countertop Microwave Oven, with Convection, Broil, Odor Removal Mode, 12.4" Position Memory Turntable, Child-Lock, Black Stainless Steel, ML2-EC10SA(BS) A, Air Fryer-1.0 Cu.Ft

I bought the 8-in-1, 1.0 c.f. combination unit and have been using it for 2 months. It wasn't hard to learn how to use it, but the controls are a bit different, and sometimes I miss having a keypad. When inputting cook times or temperatures, you turn the knob by increments (10 seconds, 25 degrees, etc.) and select, so it's not as precise as it would be with a keypad. There is generally enough control. I have had to adjust one recipe so far because of this, and I wonder if the well-used knob will be the first thing that wears out. You also set the kitchen timer feature the same way, by increments. Pro's include the stainless steel interior, the glass door, the bright LED inside, and it runs pretty quietly - more quietly than my last microwave, anyway. I also like the option of having a small oven so that I don't have to fire up my full-sized one. I have used the air fryer, microwave, and convection oven functions, but not the air fryer/convection oven combo. (There is no combination that includes the microwave.) I am not able to compare the air fryer or convection oven to dedicated appliances. (I have read that combo units generally lack the power of a dedicated air fryer, but this unit crisps up frozen breaded fish fillets, anyway.) Overall, I am happy with it and would buy it again.

This product appeared in a few reviews for decent Microwaves, so far we like the minimal buttons approach, our last 2 microwaves stopped working when the touch pad stopped working.We haven't used it for much more than microwaving, the Pro's are its fairly quiet, the LED interior light gives you a clear view inside when its cooking, there isn't a lot of Membrane buttons and the Dial is nice for setting power and cooking time.There is a menu attached to the top so you can get a rough idea on cooking times for various foods, it does suggest 3" of air space on the sides and top and 1" clearance in the back it also has the child safety lock and a method for turning off the cooking BeepCon's about the only con and its not really an issue is the top is not flat our solution was to purchase a cover art elevated cutting board

I mostly use it for microwave warming, mostly coffee. But although use of the air fry option requires some figuring out, it seems a bit under par. I am not going to use it much, nor do I plan on using the oven feature or dehydrate, as I have a commercial dehydrator and a perfectly good oven already. But it's nice to know I can use it to bake. I will be using the air fryer more and will update if I like it better, but my air fried fries just did not ever get crispy, so I might be the one at fault, might not. (Fries, hash browns, frozen fish are all a bit disappointing so far in the air fry dept.) Also, do not buy this unless you have more than the recommended room for safety. It gets HOT on the non-mocrowave functions! I have mine on a table and pull it away from the wall when air frying. You do not want small kids near this. I like the child proof latch, and the instructions are pretty clear for actual use. I would buy this again for the reasonablr price.

Easy to use settings. I can do pretty much everything with this oven !!!

NO OWNERS MANUEL OR COOK BOOK SENT FROM AMAZON WITH MY PACKAGE. I CALLED AMAZON TO SEE HOW THEY CAN HELP ME ( I thought maybe it was a mistake and they could possibly send it to me ) WHICH I PAID OVER $200 for, INSTEAD IM TOLD TO WATCH A “ VIDEO “ OR TO CONTACT TOSHIBA ( called them first & sat on hold for 2hrs before being disconnected!!! ) THIS IS A NIGHTMARE, if you get this “ Toshiba 8-1 AIRFRY / BROIL / MICROWAVE COMBO “ I HOPE FOR YOUR SAKE YOU GET THE PROPER USERS MANUEL AND COOKBOOK BECAUSE I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO USE THIS THING ! I DID GOOGLE THE MICROWAVE AND PRINTED A 48page owners manual ONLY TO FIND OUT IT DIDNT TELL ME THE AUTO SETS FOR TIME & TEMPERATURE! I AM A “ALMOST DAILY”SHOPPER ON AMAZON / CARD HOLDER AND THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST PURCHASE EVER AND WITH NO HELP FROM AMAZON. Impressed by every aspect of this. Controls easy and intuitive, and the knob is key -- e.g. press 'Bake', turn knob to the Temp you desire, push knob to confirm, turn knob to select Time you want, push knob to confirm and begin cooking.Even cooking, quiet fan, good light inside, primary pan has silicone bottom, convection cooking at 425°F doesn't cause outside top of oven to get hot, and one-hand operation of door with simple upward press before pulling door outward is very easy. Well-made with smooth clean lines and efficient use of space in such a compact multi-function oven. [Hoping durability is equally impressive -- will update if run into any issues]
