This hose was exactly what I expected, and I am very happy with it. I is made well and stores very compact on a 100 ft extension cord reel. I have added a shutoff valve and quick connect fittings. The shutoff valve is very helpful since this hose is easier to handle when under pressure (inflated). It works best to connect it, close the shut off valve, roll it out and then turn on the water to pressurize. It will kink if bent too sharp, but if not kinked too hard it still flows well. To store on a reel, lay the hose out with both ends open then roll it up; trapped water is forced out the far end as it is rolled up.

Lite and doesn't leak

Absolutely the WORST hose I have ever had. Leaks like a sive after 2 uses. Completely IMPOSSIBLE to roll up. Great idea. Poor execution. Oh. Can’t keep a gasket in it either. They curl up inside the cheap hose ends. Looks great but performs TERRIBLE.

Even when fully inflated, this hose kinks frequently and way too easily. I would NOT buy it again.

After getting tired of replacing broken hose reels for rubber hoses, we decided to buy a forestry hose for the garden and our Fire Company had used FireHoseDirect before, so I was glad to see them offer a standard garden hose setup. Quality seems standard and I have no complaints. However, YOU need to know that this is fire hose and it is designed to be run under pressures normally above what a residential garden hose will produce. If you under-pressure the hose, it will not support itself and therefore kink and twist in a manner that will ruin your experience. Luckily our house is directly off one of the town's main water lines and our pressure is just enough to support this type of hose for garden work. You also need to remember that this hose needs to be fully extended to charge with water and drained for proper storage. This is a great product, just make sure you know what you are buying and the manufacturer is correct when they list this as "not recommended for a garden hose".

Got this to replace a hose that had worn out. Unfortunately, it is too thick to fit on the reel I have, but I will make a reel it will fit on. It will probably last longer than the original hose.

I dry camp a lot so I have to bring hoses to fill the tanks on my RV a few times during a week long stay. The usual rubber garden hoses I brought are bulky and heavy. This hose is extremely light weight and can fit anywhere. The only downside (if any) is that you can’t let it get kinked. Keep it straight to let the water flow and you’ll have zero problems. I’m going to buy another. Quality product.

This hose is very lightweight and really helps me. IT is also very durable. Living in Florida the hose is out in the sun all day everyday and my previous one lasted at least 5 years or more.
